Laxus used to be one of my favorites, until Hiro Mashima shat all over his character and turned him into another Natsu. Gildarts is the most entertaining and enjoyable character of the series by far, and yet he's only been shown in two fights: one against Natsu, and the other against Bluenote (which, while probably one of the best fights of the series, should have lasted a little longer).
