It seems she doesn't think her own abilities are that great, probably from experience. She definitely isn't a Prodigy though, that title is taken, and before you comment on why I think so. Because Kishimoto blatantly expressed their characters and what they represent. It would not make sense for the team to have two prodigies, and Kishimoto never does that. Not to mention we know how much Kishimoto loves his parallels:

One Genius/Prodigy
One Support
One Hard worker
