It's not guaranteed that they would have the Byakugan. Naruto's and Hinata's children don't have the Byakugan simply because Kishi forgot.

He said he intended to draw them, but he forgot. Meaning they were supposed to have it, and then he states the third child could have it, but that itself would cause complications (hahah he laughs).

If Mitsuki is really an Ootsusuki then I think he's gonna be the strongest of the new Generation.

Hamura's line is significantly weaker than Hagoromo's. Just look at Naruto; a distant relation to the main bloodline with a portion of Senju DNA, and how he faired against Tenseigan wielding Toneri's strongest attack.

Hamura got the short end of the stick.

Just like most SS fans, funny how they are barely activate nowadays. Some of Salad fans are already saying they dont care how strong she is but only her character/story(you know they typical Maury bile), but if they wanna tell themselves that then by all means.

The only thing that is confirmed as far as their combat ability is that Boruto is #1 due to being called the "famous prodigy" of his generation.

Though, Mitsuki looked confident about the exams- so he's probably 2nd or 3rd.

The last member is likely Shikadai. He's intelligent like Shikamaru and is basically his copy. But since his laziness/tendency to complain could get in the way (depending on whether he's a hard worker like Temari or not)- it might be Lee's apprentice that is the 3rd top student.

ChouChou/Sarada are not looking forward to the exams or see much point to them. So, I guess it makes sense that Kishimoto is giving Sarada a support role by being a medic in the upcoming movie. And Inojin is just learning Sai's techs, that's not enough to beat Bolt/Mitsuki/Shikadai or Lee's kid.

All it took for toneri to turn into a super saiyan with deva path powers was to take a pair of byakugan since his was sealed , if mitsuki is truly his son born from a hyuga woman then he gets both the eyes and body needed to unlock tenseigan , add that to other possible techs he can learn and u have the strongest if bolts gen right there.
