Don't forget Annie. That is because few other mangas have some really well written female characters. Naruto female characters doesn't really stand a chance in front of them. Although Sakura Haruno and Hinata are somewhat good written in my opinion.
In one piece we have Nico Robin, in Fairy Tail we have Ultear Milkowich, in case of Attack On Titan we have Mikasa Ackerman. Naruto female characters are nowhere in front of this trio, when it comes to writing.![]()
Yeah Annie as well, how the heck I forgot about her.>_>Don't forget Annie.
I think the fact that a perennial wallflower (Konan) is considered one of the better-written female characters is pretty depressing haha. Tsunade is the only one with any really progressive development. When I wrote that, Hinata was the only other one who came to my mind but she's not really anything special either. I also find it almost like sexist that Sakura's obsession with Sasuke still exists lol.Tsunade is actually decent as far as females in shonen go. She has a back story, she has development, and she's partaked in a few fights. She's also hokage. She's probably the best written out of the females in this series.
Konan had a decent backstory, but it looked like she was just more along for the ride with Yahiko and Nagato. Her story was tragic and she had some development, along with a badass fight. However, Nagato overshadowed her imo. But she was still pretty well-done as far as females in this series go. It was nice to see the team dynamic she had with Yahiko and Nagato as well when they were kids and how they watched out for each other.
I also liked pt1 Temari too because she looked badass along with her siblings, she was a decent wind kekkai-genkai user, and Kishimoto could have gone in-depth with her and her brothers...but he only really did that for Gaara. In pt2, Temari is still likeable, but she's kind of reduced to being Shikamaru's love interest. :/
I don't think any other females in the series were well-written, though. Most don't have much elaboration on their past or they're just too one-dimensional.
Well, once again Tsunade is probably the best out of the females. Mainly because she's the only one with actually decent development, an interesting back story, and has relevance that extends to more than shipping.I think the fact that a perennial wallflower (Konan) is considered one of the better-written female characters is pretty depressing haha. Oh I wouldn't know anything about that; Naruto is the only manga I've ever read lolThat is because few other mangas have some really well written female characters. Although Sakura Haruno and Hinata are somewhat good written in my opinion, that is because they at least have their own thoughts and writer at least gives them better panel time to establish the character

Oh then you should try other ones out whenever you have free time. Naruto is certainly a good manga, but just like other things, it has some negative aspects as well.Oh I wouldn't know anything about that; Naruto is the only manga I've ever read lol
