Too be honest I am highly disappointed. All they basically did was re-name adult swim and bring Tom back. Nothing different at all, yes I know acquiring rights to certain shows is a bitch in a half. But with how they have it now I don't think Toonami will be able to get the glory launch that it rightfully deserves.
I mean look at the semi-good to great cartoons they have managed to hold onto up to now......why not bring Toonami back so it's at least on Friday night, Saturday afternoon/night, and Sunday morning. With new episodes of the shows they currently have such as Young Justice, Gen. Rex, Ben 10, Bleach, and what not.
Disney currently has the rights to Naruto (they won't give it up now that they know one of their biggest rivals is trying to bring back something that could make them a one channel station again), Marvel cartoons (since they bought out the movies and shows portion of marvel comics) and whatever the **** else they have.
Nick doesn't have full rights over DBZ seeing as DBZ Kai is also on The CW Network and it has already ended on Nick so CN could get it back if they tried and not that corny bullshit of an excuse Kai. Nick already has major hits goin for it such as Avatar.
So right now all I see Toonami as is just a reboot of Adult Swim on Saturday nights :/ nothing more nor less.....but I will def. be pissed if they put that ****in' Tim and Eric bullshit on Toonami

Had no idea Toonami was actually coming back! Turned on my TV late tonight, saw Tom and was like "Wtf its April fools all over again!" But this time its for real, so looking forward to it. Cassher and Deadman's wonderland are shows I've never seen before, so this is exciting to me.
But TBH, they need to bring back at least 1 or 2 of their classic shows the keep the ratings around. I mean they can hope for new younger fans to show up, but since its on so late, their best chance is to re-kindle the relationship with their old fans like me. For me to watch it most saturdays, I need at least Naruto or DBZ and some Gundam or Yu Yu Hakusho in addition to Brotherhood and maybe a few new shows, like they are showing now.

and they need to push it back and hour to atleast. not many people are gonna stay up till midnight and even 3 in the mourning just to watch bleach deadman wonderland and teh same crap we already see on as. I mean i wanted to give toonami trhe ratings it needs to help keep it but i ain't staying up that late unless naruto or dbz is there which was my whole reason for loving toonami. unless they have some badass shws they can't afford to put it on so late. i stayed up to watch bleach and deadman wonderland but i couldn't stay up any longer then that and was bored with what they had.
they have to make toonami better or like it was or it won't last to long.

Plz stop naming all these awesome shows! Someday I think if the ratings get high enough DBZ, Naruto, Samurai Jack, GUNDAM WING, all these cool shows will be back but at least I watched it to support it. They showed bleach which adult swim already owns but if their little experiment of bringing Toonami back last night continues to be successful we will see better shows.
Stay patient, watch the crappier shows and we'll see some growth. But at least watch it and don't be too disappointed with the selection now it'll get better.
