Toneri is a bit underrated

I still say he doesn't beat nagato.

He's far above Nagato. Faster, stronger, more destructive abilities, can manipulate gravity as well and can absorb chakra w/ his orb as well. There's literally no area of combat Nagato has the advantage in.

Nah. I maintain the opinion that toneri is all flash no bite.

KCM Naruto tanked that moon splitter tech. There's no confirmation on the thickness of the moon(with it being hollow). granted, the range of that tech is amazing but the actual strength is weak. Preta takes it. Then there's the other tech naruto was tanking with his cloaked hand, again preta takes it. To put it in perspective, I don't think naruto in just KCM could tank his own FRS(which nagato can absorb or blow away easily) so clearly those tech are pretty weak.

Chakra absorption gets nulled by preta too. No point trying to pull out nagato's charka when he'll be fighting back with preta. Ootsutsuki statue gets matched with tons of summons + gedo statue.

The only argument i listen to here is speed. KCM naruto during the war could not blitz nagato so I don't see it here if it's the same mode(the fact he got the other half of the kyuubi might affect his speed). I can't really tell here though. If toneri can match naruto's max ever speed or come close then he can blitz nagato. besides the speed thing though toneri is severely overrated and still wouldn't wreck nagato. might narrowly win though.

Preta Path isn't helping though. Toneri has Gudo Dama, thus he uses Senjutsu. Too much Senjutsu absorbed=Nagato turning to stone. Then we have the fact that the Gudo Dama themselves are a weapon, a weapon Nagato can't block nor absorb.

That doesn't even make sense. Toneri's chakra absorption is stronger by feats nor can he fight back w/ Preta because Toneri absorbs chakra by hitting his opponent with a projectile. He drained Naruto of all his power in a split second. Ootsutsuki Statue was on par w/ Full Kurama's Avatar. Nagato could barely handle Half Kurama, his summons are inferior to the toads except for the Dog and Gedo Mazo was being beaten by B and KCM Naruto. It's not taking down the statue. The statue would obliterate it.

Toneri destroys him with zero difficulty.

Also toneri's gudodama literally wreck nagato's entire arsenal, summonings included.

Yeah. The Moon may have been hollowed out but it's still a large planetary body and it dwarfs any amount of Mountains on Earth. It's also not like the Moon was entirely hollow. Sasuke's PS Chidori is enough to pierce into any PS shown in the Manga and it's destructive power is simply Multi Mountain Range.

He had that chakra ball technique against Naruto yet he ended up laid out with his eyes ripped out after the fact.

Hinata had to replenish Naruto's chakra after A Toneri who absorbed the power of the Tenseigan Energy Vessel (countless Byakugan along with Hamura's Tenseigan) absorbed it. If Toneri was capable of that with his own power he wouldn't have lost to Naruto.

And no, before fanboys pounce on this post no one is saying Toneri is weak. He's just not on par w/ Naruto or people on Naruto's level.

I'd say Toneri is underrated because I have never seen anyone placing Toneri above BSM Naruto or Rikuudo characters and even go far to say ems Madara or Nagato negged him when most of his ability have been overlooked such as how he has the ability to control attractive and repulsive forces on continent level or how he wasn't defeated by a mere punch since Naruto focused all of his chakra and compressed it onto his fist create massive shockwave from a yard away. It is as if people forgot that Toneri can bust a moon.
