I think its the end of Tom's aura,, Mission impossible was the most ambitious project of him. and it could not done as well as it was expected. Now i fear what can be better than this? Is there any triumph card to be thrown by him?

Tom was a great actor. His aura ended during Mission Impossible 3 for me. The DVD was a
tom self-glorification effort with director commentary etc.

Well, to me, MI4 remain the best of the MI series.
So whether his era has ended or not, I think he still can deliver a good movie and performance. Now, on his 'bankable' value, well, this was down ever since 2009. [
