I just finished hte manga, and i'm confused about the clowns, uta and those people.

Why did they kill rize? why didnt they tell kaneki anything, are they bad? i'm confused

Yes, it was pretty obvious they are bad in the last chapter Lol(They got me, those bastards)........ they ruined Kaneki's life just for the lol's.
