After reading the first chapter it's about a superhero story. We have people that have abilities called choujin. The main character is a normal human best friends with choujin that's the neighborhood hero for the town.
The beginning chapter subtly informs you of the new world we are in where is starts of in a plane and kid stopping grown man and the man using fire powers.
The chapter ends with them fighting a criminal they stopped earlier but this time he became a choujin. They cant stop this new guy and it seems this artificial superhero medicine is making him go crazy.
They find the syringe that transformed him and both decide to shoot it up chapter ends with the main guy turning into a culture beast kakuma form like kaneki.
It's an interesting start not sold on the series yet not a fan of the change in character art tokyo ghoul had a more mature look this is more comedic and undefined look for characters.
Interested to see the direction this will go and if this will new a success I'm not completely feeling his comeback being for a superhero genre story since it's being done so much already but I'll see how his spin will be on it.
