Tobi's Space-Time Migration

I am just a bit confused about this jutsu..
Please help! :shrug:

It is known that Tobi can maintain intangibility with this jutsu for 5min.
After that, correct me if I am wrong he reverts back to being tangible and can be touched! RIGHT?! :flaw:

1. Does it mean he won't be able to use the jutsu for a period of time?

2. Why can't he just stop usage at 4min 59sec then be tangible for like a second then go back to intangibility form! (Yes, trolling logic but is that possible?)

It can't be massive chakra consumption right? That tech. can't be that crazy enough to drain Tobi out, iMean look at Sasuke or even Itachi. They can stay in Susanoo form for periods of time (surely more than 5min) and chakra wastage is immense!!

1.yes after the 5min his intangibility fades away.. and he become vulnerable to any attacks for some period of time.....but the amount of time is short .. - if he hadn't uses the ijanagi he would have fried by konan jutus....... -

and the pictures is of the jutsu that suck up anything that tobi touches to his dimension....and himself to different places

I am just mystified! Kishi wasn't quite clear on this jutsu i think.

Well if he could do it with no limits beside the time limit then that would be fcked up don't you think. So I'd say he can't use it repeatedly even if he stops before 5min is over.

i guess it's up to naruto to uncover tobi's time limit. my guess is that for every 5m it's on, it has to stay off for another 5.

Its a space time ninjutsu. To be able to perform such a technique without the use of handseals is in itself an amazing ability. And to keep it up for 5 minutes is actually a very long time. Very few attacks exist that last as long as Konan's ocean of paper bombs did.
And to answer your questions:
1. Yes there is a time limit like you said its 5 minutes.
2. Of course he could do that but in that 1 second of tangibility he would die if it were the situation we saw against Konan.

Teleportation/ s/t techs don't consume much chakra, that's why they're so OP. Take Minato's FTG, he used to spam it endlessly in his fights, like how he took out 50 hidden stone shinobi in the 3rd ninja war, then went and took out 10-15 more who were attacking Kakashi and Rin and at the end of it all when Kakashi awoke he did'nt even look slightly fatigued.
