i'd like to see tobi's s/t tech do this:

You must be registered for see images

and by the way there's no proof that intangibility is a s/t tech.

For those saying his Tobis space time ninjutsu isnt the best, your clearly denying the manga, minato said it himself

He only outsmarted Tobi

Yes, but that was just possible thanks to the speed of FTG...

Tobi outsmarted Fu and Torune :p It wasnt his technique alone that beat them!
(this is stupid), because u can just compare the Jutsus if both users had equal skills: If thats not the case u have always to compare the ways the technique is used, and MInato uses his technique smarter then Tobi, so FTG+smart user>Space time migration+ Tobi (who is smart too)

Tobi's s/t is only superior in terms of it not needing seals nothing more

The fastest man that ever lived owned him and the second fastest will also own him soon. But you do have a point.

Tobi's technique is no doubt superior to Tobirama's and Minato's that much is clear from the manga alone, fact that it doesnt need seals alone and Tobi can travel wherever he wants whenever he wants, makes it superior unlike Tobirama and Minato who need to have a seal there first. Because his technique doesnt depend on an external source it makes it better. Second is ability to go intangible which makes this ability even superior. Then there is the ability to warp others into another dimension which puts his s/t ability light years ahead of Tobirama's and Minato's. However with every technique there are weakness and the manga has made it clear the weaknesses of Tobi's s/t technique which is near perfect, unlike Tobirama's and Minato's which is far, far from the case.

It is a terrible technique which depending on the user can defeat majority of high level ninja's with this ability alone. There is however no such thing as the greatest technique in the manga, but if there ever was, Tobi's would be in the Top 3

and by the way there's no proof that intangibility is a s/t tech.

thats what i was thinking..
and to be technical i read pages back basing tobis attack better cuz minato had to use 2 attacks to beat him?!
i would consider intangibility one attack and his teleportation a different attack.
so i guess this real thread is who has the best combo? :p

the bottom line is we dont know what tobi is fully capable of, so because of this its hard to rate in my eyes.
everything does rely on the user and we still honestly dont know what happens when you are teleported by tobi. if it is a genjitsu on the other end then someone w/ a stronger genjitsu shouldnt need to worry, if youre stuck in a dimension then hopefully you can reverse summon or pull a transportation like sasuke used manda.
if tobi is your opponent, out smart him and find what his goal is to distract him

again variables and other things play in effect as the user and opponent

no one technique is the best

Still I prefer FTG. Its only weakness (so far we know) are the seals that are needed to perform it. once this is done, the technique is at least ass useful as tobis Space time migration.

Traveling: Tobi's>FTG
Speed: Tobi's<FTG
Defence: Tobi's=FTG
Offence: Tobi's>FTG

Of course every feat is connectet with its users reactiontime, but since tobi has sharingan and some sort of sensorjutsu to notice attacks from behind...
the reaction is not an advantage for minato..

By feats Tobi'S is superior. But still minato whiped out platoons in seconds thanks to FTG... I guess it is more useful in a battle thanks to its immense speed...

I can assure you that there are more, much much more weakness than that but this isnt the thread for it

Traveling: Tobi's>FTG
Speed: Tobi's<FTG
Defence: Tobi's=FTG
Offence: Tobi's>FTG

Depends on the user. Both have their limitations, which depends on the user. Example when minato's body guards use ftg, they were considerably slower than minato, therefore in that case Tobi's s/t technique is better in speed. Defence depends, i would however say Tobi's ability to stand there and troll opponents makes it better than ftg. Offence also depends, although you are right, tobi's is slightly better

Of course every feat is connectet with its users reactiontime, but since tobi has sharingan and some sort of sensorjutsu to notice attacks from behind...
the reaction is not an advantage for minato..

Every s/t user seems to have some sort of tracking ability which gets mistaken for sensory ability

By feats Tobi'S is superior. But still minato whiped out platoons in seconds thanks to FTG... I guess it is more useful in a battle thanks to its immense speed...

Both can be practical in battle depending on the user. If we look at both techniques alone and note how effective it is, then tobi wins. If we look at the technique and also the user, then minato's gains ground and id say they are equal in their ability with s/t techniques

Madara's Perfect Susano Shinra tensei is wayy better than tobi's. Plus unlike tobi, using that jutsu doesn't take up much chakra because thats his rinnegan whereas tobi's is stolen.

Agree.

@Son of Odin: What makes you think Naruto can dodge Tobi's space time ninjutsu? The only one who should was Minato, because he teleported. Tobi stated that he should use ST faster and take him.

??????????

ROFL

@Blaze release:

If there are other weaknesses, they are well hidden, so that nobody, not even tobi figured them out before he lost to the speed...

But I guess I agree with you:

I personally just prefer FTG. Just because it has the potential to be instant, unlike tobis technique thats all. To me this makes the difference in a combut but as I said, its my personal opinion.:ice:

a possible way would be a chakraarmpunch...

Tobi would have to get intangible to avoid the blow... so naruto would get free... but I dont see him escaping otherwise... except his speed would be sso great, that tobi wwould lose his arm if he stays grabbing him :D lol

sorry for multipost...

It is veratile we agree on that, and so far it is the most ADVANCED S/T jutsu in the manga.
BUT i wouldn't call it the best, there are some other techs that seem pretty OP.
It is definitely one of the top 5 techs though.

He has to materialize before he can teleport and the teleportation process is relatively slow so he can be attacked in that time perod.
