quiet possible IMO, its true that shisui's name was brought up countless times..
but I'm still more convinced that tobi is actually the real zetsu.. and zetsu was actually an experiment by madara.
remember madara took dna sample of hashirama, possibly madara survived his fight with hashirama.desperate to have the power of senju aswell madara experimented on senju dna and come up with zetsu.. then sometime before his death madara transfer his will to zetsu to carry on his plan on developing rinnegan further, but things don't go well on zetsu's hands that is why all this happens..

the activation of Itachi's mangekyou. As we saw with sasuke, he really didnt kill itachi but witnessed him die then got the "truth" revealed to him by madara later on. this pain caused him to gain mangekyou. this leads me to believe that achieving mangekyou is like attaining the other stages, out of need which in sasuke's case was a need to avenge his brother. On top of this, remember that shisui's sharingan gave him the ability to manipulate his opponents mind without them knowing and i think he used this ability to make Itachi believe he had killed him hence Itachi activated magekyou. Also, it has not been stated that the genjutsu cuold be broken. Ao released the samurai leader( can't remember his name) by making him REALISE he was in a genjutsu!
Fourthy,madara was powerful. tsuchikage himself said he wouldn't need to go through some roundabout manner to accomplish his goals. even if one gets injured, they eventually heal. look at lee! Also, tobi keeps saying Itachi died without realising the truth. From my point above (at the kage meeting), maybe, just maybe, Itachi had not realised that he was under Shisui's jutsu. It has been demonstrated before that there are long term genjutsu, like sasor's subordinate in the sand. Furthermore, the third mizukage was said to be under someone's control and with shisui's inate ability to control one's mind, it could possibly be him who controlled the third mizukage. I think it is in this way that akatsuki members have been fiercely loyal; because they have never realised they were being mind controlled...seems far-fetched but you cant rule out that fact!
And lastly, i think that is that maybe Itachi had found out his plan. I know i said above that itachi could have benn under the genjutsu blah,blah, blah! But that was for the sake of arguing that point of view so bear with me. Why would Itachi join Akatsuki to protect sasuke from a man who is a shadow of his former self. it doesn't make sense! the proof of this point is that itachi implanted amaterasu in sasuke's eyes to protect him from tobi's SHARINGAN!! tobi said so when he said the seal activated when sasuke saw tobi's sharingan. Knowing shisui's/tobi's inate ability to control minds, Itachi wanted to safeguard sasuke from this. don't you agree that makes more sense because in that way, sasuke would have accomplished his goal nad would head back to konoha just as itachi intended!!

The only problem I have is that kabuto seems to know who tobi is. If it was shisui then why would he try to edo summon him? o.o

What you should be asking your self is, how did he control him? Tobi=Shisui has many eyes from the Uchiha massacare however ask your self when did Danzo receive Shisui's eye?

Danzou took Shisui's eye right before he Gave Itachi the other one and then shisui died.
Do you know where all those sharingans in Tobi's lab came from? Tobi took them after he helped Itachi slaughter the clan. The person who helped Itachi had eyes. Do you see the problem with your answer?
Also, Tobi had long hair just before the Uchiha massacre whereas Shisui's hair was Short.
And most importantly, Shisui is dead as I've already proved.
Most of my points are based directly on real evidence that I can reference in the manga. Can you do the same?

Of course I can!! Shisui is Tobi face it, why are you against it? No one eles being Tobi would be more Epic than one of the Hidden Leafs own! Not some Zetsu Experiment. Kabuto trying to Summon Shisui Failed! You know why? Because he's walking the Earth! (Naruto Earth) lol.

i dont think its shusui controling that kage... shishui got one of his eyes stolen by danzou and the other he gave to itachi. also, i think itachi would know if tobi was shusui and not madara (or someone claiming to be madara).That's Kishi throwing you off, Tobi speaks in 3rd person & claims to be Madara which you know isn't true.
The sad thing is how people can actually believe that the strongest Uchiha at that time drowned LMAO, he did go to the land of the water and control the 4th Mizukage after giving Itachi one of his eyes

Danzo was given an eye & you would think Itachi would know who Tobi is, but just the fact Itachi refers to Tobi as Madara means even Itachi was led to believe that Tobi was Madara.

wease:If thats how I made you feel then I'm sorry.Anyway, the reason why I'm finding your theory hard to believe is because I'm not yet convinced that Shisui is still alive. If you could provide a couple of logical points that state why you think Shisui is still alive then that would really make your theory solid. And, that would make me a believer.
Edit: Theres a lot of solid evidence that adds a lot of weight to the argument that Shisui is in fact dead. Is it unreasonable to expect the same from anyone who claims that Shisui is still alive?
Also, you claim that Kabuto tried to summon Shisui and the summoning failed. I think you might have misunderstood your reference. What it stated was that Kabuto could not find Shisui's body.

On a side note: This made me realize how stupid Kabuto was for not trying to find DNA to summon Danzou instead, seeing that Kabuto cant find Shisui. Danzou also had Shisui's eye. Plus, Danzou's Kotoamatsukami was boosted with some Hashirama which would have been very convenient.

Obito is also from Hidden Leaf and as similiar age as Kakashi.
Kakashi got Obito's left Sharingan --> Kamui --> Space-Time Jutsu
Tobi is mainly seen with his right Sharingan --> Space-Time Jutsu
Also: Shisui's eyes are crushed.. (One taken by Itachi.. put into a crow.. later burned because it special power can be used every decades.. the other one Danzo got.. later crushed so Tobi wouldn't get it.)
It's more likly that Tobi is Obito.. But after researching there is also a possibility that Tobi = Kagami..
But Tobi = Shisui, Mardara, Izuna, Zetsu, Hashirama, So6p are bs.
