Technically speaking, if it were true that Dan and Tsunade did have a child, and that child were Minato, then since that would put at least 38 years between the birth of Tsunade and the birth of Naruto (Tsunade and Jiraya having been about 50 years old when the series statrs and Naruto is 12). In that time period it is biologically and chronologically possible to squeeze in Tsunade having a child as well as Naruto being born.

Now while that theory is a pretty funny one, and one i would love to believe, why haven't they mentioned anything about it yet. Actually, why hasn't Kishi ever really mentioned anything about Minato's family? (Apart from Naruto and Kushina of course).

Oh and wouldn't it be weird Minato being hokage, then having his mother be the next one? That just seems a little strange to me, but hey, this series has its moments.

But Tobirama being Minato's father, completely impossible. Great, great uncle, maybe. But father, no.

I saw nothing in this thread that actually proves that Tobirama and Minato have any relation at all.

The way I see it is this: Hashirama and Tobirama were brothers. Hashirama is from the Senju clan and shares the same last name as his clansmen, therefore you have Hashirama Senju. So if Tobirama and Hashirama are brothers then there is a 99.9% chance that Tobirama's last name would be Senju as well. If Minato were his son then why would he have a Namikaze last name and not Senju? Minato had no reason to be hidden from his lineage like Naruto did as the Jinchurriki. Plus Tobirama and Minato look nothing alike!

Even from the beginning, you could surmise that the Fourth Hokage had some relation to Naruto just from his appearance. I don't get that connection when I see Tobirama and Minato. None.

No MInato is from Namikaze clan whereas Tobirama is from Senju clan but it doesn't prove anything.
I don't think that Tobirama's wife wasn't from Namikaze clan furthermore even Hiruzen was 56 when Minato was 26 and Tobirama was Hiruzen's sensei so he was about 10-15 years older than Hiruzen.
Tobirama was at least 45 years older than Minato, it's impossible that it's his father.
