Tobirama is clearly a rare genius and is easily one the same level as people like Uchiha Itachi and Minato Namikaze.There are feats that clearly suggests that he is one of the smartest dudes in NV.Even now whole shinobi world is following Tobirama's foot steps.Chunin exams, ANBU and Ninja academy are more than enough proof.He derived high level as well as awsome jutsu's such as FTG,EDO tensei and Shadow clones jutsu.No other shinobi besides Tobirama managed to accomplish this much and no other shinobi's achivements are this much helpful to the shinobi world.Lel,even 90% of current war arc rides on this guys jutsu's and no need to mention about the level of his knowledge and how good he is when it comes to analyzing a battle and deriving strategies.Tobirama and Minato are more or less on par with eachother in this department or you can put Tobirama above Minato coz of his knowledge and experience.

Minato might be better than Tobirama when it comes to finger sensing but that dosen't mean that Minato is about Tobirama nor this point is going to help you to put him over Tobirama in this battle.Tobirama isn't a joke,he's easily one of top rated sensors in this manga.One of great sensing feats from Tobirama is that he can tell the name of a persons clan just by sensing his/her chakra which is something Minato never pulled but that dosen't mean that Minato can't pull the same though.In this department also they are more or less on par with eachother.There is nothing that puts Minato above Tobirama and vice versa.

Tobirama most likely has bigger chakra pool than Minato.Tobirama is a pure blooded Senju and is one of the most gifted one even among the Senju clan.He is the only one besides Hashirama who managed to shake whole room just by raising his chakra.He teleported two BM avatars like they were nothing which is more than enough to say that he is easly on par with if not better than Minato in terms of chakra.Even Hashirama whose chakra level is compatable to that of 100%Kyuubi managed to make 10-11 clones on the other hand Tobirama managed to pull two clones while holding the barrier implying that his pool is equal to atleast 1/5th of his brother which means that his pool is equal to 1/5th of 100% Kyuubi which is more than enough to put him above or on par with Minato.Chakra pool isn't a factor in a Minato vs Tobirama thread if you ask me.

Yes , he derived FTG , Edo Tensei , Shadow Clones .
But other Ninjas have perfected his Jutsus.


Shadow Clones -> Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Naruto/Kakashi)
FTG -> Minato
Edo Tensei -> Kabuto/Oro

Cmon, Minato defeated Obito & Kamui in 2 Minutes (Kakashi/Gai/B/Naruto needed Chapters for it ) .
Then he sealed Kurama in Naruto , with a Plan .
Minato dont do anything without a good reasen.

I am sure , that Minato is better in intelligence/battle tactics , why ? Cuz he show us his skills everytime in middle of the fight. (Obito&Kurama, A/B , 4 War , 3 War....) that shows that he has nerves of steel,very important in a fight.

Minato also created some Jutsus , Rasengan , for FRS (he had no time , he would mastered it ) , rasen senkou chourinbu kousan shiki.

Yes , Tobirama teleported 2 Kurama Avatars = 100 % Kurama (as Edo to )
Minato teleported also 100 % Kurama alive.

I have post it many times , cuz only Tobirama is a Senju it does not mean that he should have more Chakra than a perfect SM User.

Tsunade is also a Senju , do you think she has more Chakra as Minato ? (only cuz her Name is Senju)
Naruto is a half Uzumaki (Senju***) do you think now that Tobirama has more Chakra cuz he is a full Senju ?

Your comparison with Tobirama/Hashirama's Chakra is ridiculous.

Minato must have a bunch of BASE CHAKRA that he is able to use SM .

A commom fallacy I'm noticing is bloodline=chakra pool. In simple terms, this is true. For instance, when comparing a Senju to a standard shinobi we can assume the Senju has the larger pool since they've inherited the sage's powerful physical energies. But, we have to look at it on a case-by-case basis. Comparing a non-sage mode Senju to a sage mode user requires further insight. We know that only those with extremely large chakra pools, and excellent chakra control can draw in and handle natural energy. We know that Tobirama is familiar with Mt. Myoboku, and that his brother also has sage mode. It's reasonable to assume that if he were capable of learning it, he would have.

Two different thoughts come to my mind when I think as to why he did not learn it. His chakra pool was not large enough, or he was lacking in the chakra control needed to master it. In this, we can assume that this is another area where Minato surpassed him, and utilized this mastery as a means to diversify and enhance the FTG technique. Minato most likely has better chakra control, and a larger chakra pool. He can not only draw in natural energy, but can also use it to enter the perfect sage mode.

It's simple to say that the two are equal, but one of the only jutsus that they share is FTG ( the other known one being shadow clone). Minato is superior in the primary one, FTG, and just as efficient in the other one . Let's add sage mode, summons (high lvl elemental attacks), rasengan, seals, FTG lvl 3, and S/T barrier to this. It's clear who is superior. Even in a battle of speed.
