Seriously. This is not a hate-thread against Itachi. But c'monnnnnnnnn, Kishimoto!!! You have hyped up Itachi more then enough already. Previous week it was 'Itachi was thinking like a Kage on age 7' and now this chapter the God of Shinobi needs to say such total CRAP. This chapter was awesome again, but that line was totally wrong. Stop the hype. This is seriously destroying a character... I know I am not alone with this opinion. (where are the days I was a fan from Itachi too...)

Edit: I know he did not say that because of the powers, but why did Kishi need to wank about Itachi once again? Stop the wank!

I think you really can't blame him for doing all this.
Itachi was really one of the best shinobi in the terms of way of thinking
and passing the right judgement.
Kishi isnt refering here to the skill level and power itachi has, he is solely referring to
how his conclusion is towards the true purpose of what a shinobi is.

Somebody who works from the shadows, and doesn't do things to get recognition.
This is something Itachi has done the best together with shisui in the naruverse in my opinion too.
Something you cant take away.

I'm not an itachi fanboy, but he sure did one hell of a job

With understanding Itachi has not been hyped. His desire wasnt to be the best, yet even the 1st Hokage is giving him the credit. His devotion to the cause of something greater than him will always have him amongst the greats. He did it! In hindsight, Hashi doesnt know that he could have.

He became a villian, when it wasnt meant to suit him, he protected what villianized him, knowing the TRUTH for that matter. He carried a burden no one else has or will. I said it already HE IS THE BADDEST SHINOBI EVER. And I cant wait till Hashirama delivers the definition to prove it.

Even if he doesnt my opinion wont change. Not many get to leave with a smile. I know he did.
