Tobirama was forced to be more serious because he had to be more stren due to his brother being a clown. Minato's characteristics are that of naruto, stubburn and quick to jump in but always display abilities beyond what credit they are given. They both are great in their own right. They have a different approach to how they battle and it works. This is a game we can sit here and argue but in the end we will find a way to counter each others jutsus to no end.
