I felt madara pain. I think he became evil because he felt hurt, I really think he wanted to be hokage.

If people here believe that Tobirama didn't have a role in Madara's evil influence. Then i believe you are just choosing Tobirama based on his tough guy act.

Tobirama was worried about Uchiha like Madara going beserk... but he was wrong... because Madara immediately goes beserk... um, huh?
Yes, Hashi is clearly the superior leader, blah blah blah, but Tobirama is hardly being irrational here. I mean, why should Madara be Hokage if everyone else wants Hashirama, even his own clan? It seems dumb. The only reason seems to be in the hope that Madara will not go beserk, and that's a pretty crap recommendation for becoming leader. Even Hashi must have been feeling like a bit of an idiot when Madara comes back with the 9 Tails to destroy the village, and causes the outbreak of the 1st Shinobi war, costing thousands upon thousands of lives.
And there still doesn't seem to really be any evidence of Uchiha persecution to this day, except "they lived in a sectioned off area in the village" (one that looks quite nice), and otherwise served as the police force, were respected in the village, and often were the popular kids at school (like Sasuke and Itachi). There's virtually no evidence of a coup being necessary, or that the decisions for Hokage were unjustified on merit (or majority will). What sort of crappy justification is that for causing a war? Your clan didn't get picked to be Hokage yet? Bizarre.

What people seem not to be getting is that it's the pride of uchiha that they holds so dear to them cause there down fall, they have the idea that they are superior to everyone and what they say goes how can you propose peace to other clans and asking them to join you if you don't give them the option to choose who they want as a leader.........One thing i find weird is why do i get they feeling non of the uchiha knew about what happpen to them with there hatred isn't it just weird,,,,now back to the main point having a democratic system to a newly form village is the best way of showing other clans that they have a voice and was not being subjected to what ever the leader says...............so say that it is tobirama fault for Madara plug to evil is ridiculous..............it's is own fault that the rest on clans and his own clan don't trust him.........i believe that hashirama was too obsess with there past friendship that he was blinded by the future warning sign and tried to protect him too much.......

The complex relationship between those three people definitely is very interesting. Madara doesn't like the Senju in general, but he hates Tobirama specifically: Tobirama killed Izuna. Even though they did find peace, there's no way Madara could have trusted or liked Tobirama from that point forward.
On top of that, Tobirama is generally distrustful of the Uchiha. The alliance was Hashirama's idea and Tobirama never fully bought into it. Tobirama knows things about the nature of the Uchiha and the Sharingan that make him distrust them even more (Tobirama doesn't seem to be distrustful of any other clan like the Sarutobi, only the Uchiha). This may also have something to do with the fact that the Uchiha killed the third brother, which Tobirama has never forgiven.
IF Hashirama's plan to make Madara the first Hokage had worked, everything would have been fine. But Tobirama's distrust stopped that from happening and Madara turned down a different path instead.
What's really interesting is that even at this point Madara still claims to want to protect the Uchiha clan. How did he go from wanting to protect them to Obito helping to kill them all? That's the most interesting part of this whole story, to me.
Actually he was,
Madara was getting Hashirama's full support at all times, and he decided to spit on it and leave the village just because he wouldn't be made Hokage.
Sasuke had his entire family and clan killed, including his parents dying in front of him... by his own brother. And even now, he's trying to understand the true meaning of it as the entire world hunts him down except Naruto and Sakura.

My thoughts exactly, even the Uchiha wanted Hashirama to be the Hokage and not Madara, sure Tobirama has done some detestable things for the village, but he was right on this one no matter how you look at it.

>Uchiha are forced to outskirts of Konoha by Tobirama

>Itachi is ordered to wipe out the Uchiha
>Sasuke gets pissed and dedicates his life to kill Itachi
>Sasuke finds out Itachi is good and now wants to destroy Konoha
hmmm seems like none of this would have happened if no one killed tobiramas family to affect his point of view on the world........see I can come up with stupid ass excuses for actions too
I think when the 1st two Hokage were Senju
and the next two were 'lesser clans'
They felt like the writing was on the wall
Heck . . . Ori was considered to be Hokage and he was proven to be bat sh*t crazy
They started feeling . . that the general thought was ANYONE *BUT* AN UCHIHA
Even if it is nice. . . .second class citizenship sucks
Esp if you have pride.

Tobirama was the one who said adults should cut themselves off from their emotionals, to prevent conflict, and he seems a very logic driven guy, not affected by emotions. He objected to Madara on a logical basis (you know, the opposite of agreeing to kill yourself because your enemy tells you to).
