Tobirama is not to be blamed for Madara's Run away.

Tobirama is a realism character who think's realistically. He know's what will happend and faces reality head on, On the other hand, Madara was unstable [With his brother's death, Clan hates him] which caused him to get a taste of reality which is that the Uchiha cannot be trusted as they are capable of strong hate/revenge. Madara being unstable and shaky caused him to leave the village and create a world where everything is "Just how he wants it".

Conclusion,

Tobirama thinks realistically and therfore caused Madara to over think things and left the village.


* I believe Tobirama added to Madara's hate as well.

I think he was very one-sided in his view toward the uchiha. In his case he probably thought them more of this peace to be a temporary cease fire and was just cautious of them all the time which led to his paranoia of the uchiha uprising

Madara knew if tobiranma took place after hashi he'll exterminate his clan. So as madara is the head of the clan he warned them about tobirama for his future plans, but his clan rejected him as they're thinking he's trying to make a problem with the senju clan.

So, his clan rejected him, and his brother's death caused madara to leave the village and become evil.

P.S madara's prediction about tobirama's plan was correct.

However, its not madara, but Hashirama who's at fault....
uchiha & senju can never become friends.....so even though they agreed to live peacefully, they'll always "never trust" each other, & that'll always create mis-understandings between them, just like what happened between madara & tobirama....

Why are madara fanboys blaming Tobirama? Madara left on his own; nobody liked him, everyone thought he was crazy(including his own clan). Hashi and Madara are like naruto and sasuke. Naruto is the only one who truly wants Sasuke around, same with Hashi wantng madara around.

Tobirama isn't fully to blame but his hate towards the Uchiha is understandable for the loses in his family but so does Madara for the Senju specially Tobriama. Its the cycle of hate that made things worse between Madara and Torbirama to the point even the Uchiha clan turned on Madara due to his hate..But he foresaw how they were going to be treated down the line..So in my opinion Tobirama has fault in it as well

That's because even Itachi knows that Uchihas can't be trusted. He had to exterminate all of them just to keep konoha safe. He is the only Uchiha who realize how tainted their clan really is.

Tobirama's contribution in this chapter was; to advise his brother to let the people decide their next leader. He could foresee revolt if hashirama elected madara (who according to tobirama is not trusted by the people) as the hokage.

So why exactly are y''ll hating on Tobirama?
