However, it's possible that by witnessing how summoning jutsu works, Tobirama invented the Hiraishin

from what was shown, Shinobi didn't have any "incredibly complicated" jutsu before the time of Hashirama and Maara

Madara Uchiha - Summoning: Kurama

I remember once I tried to hint at Tobirama being smart since he invented edo tensei and ftg, needless to say before he had shown any feats ppl shot it out of the sky, but it's funny now since Tobirama seems to be one of the smartest most insightful ppl in the manga, he's like Itachi and orochimaru fused into 1 being.

Edo Tensei

A jutsu that brings back the dead, makes them immortal and regenerate, and also grants them an endless supply of chakra. I'm sure everyone agrees that this is one of the most OP Jutsu out there.

Tobirama invented this.........and he doesn't even have Dojutsu like Rinnegan that gave him this ability to bring back the dead.

Space-Time Ninjutsu

Only a handful of people were shown to use this S/T

Obito got his from his MS and Minato has a similar jutsu that was most likely inspired by Tobirama

Chronologically, Tobirama was the first one to use Space-Time and no other nin during his time or before that we know of had Space-Time Ninjutsu. So that means it's very possible that Tobirama invented Space/Time Ninjutsu

Water Realease

Tobirama's nature affiliation, which is another thing he possess and excelled at. The only time we've seen him use Suiton was during his battle with Hiruzen as Edo Tensei.......

he wasn't even resurrected to near-full strength and managed to impress the Anbu with his suiton that time.

Chakra Sensing

Again, much like his Space-Time ninjutsu, chronologically he was he one of the first to possess chakra sensing that we know of.

The only other person that had Chakra-Sensing ability during his time was Mu, but considering we don't know who's older, we can't compare timelines.

It's debatable who had acquired it first, but so far we know no one before them that had it(without Dojutsu) which could again suggest that one of them invented it, but one thing we do know is that Tobirama was adept at sensing even as a child.

Kage Bunshin

Just about every Kage-Bunshin user from the Naruto(manga, not anime) was from Konoha

The forbidden scroll which Naruto read and obtained Kage-Bunshin was from Konoha

On a side note: Hashirama used mokuton clones, not Kage-Bunshin. Mokuton Clones are part of his kekkai genkai

Thus leading to my conclusion, Tobirama invented Edo Tensei, which is considered to be one of the deadliest jutsu of all time.

He was also one of the first to utilize chakra sensing and Space-time ninjutsu which would also suggest that he could have invented them as well.

Point is, most shinobi take their whole lifetime to invent one jutsu whereas Tobirama possibly invented 4 or at least 2(space-time and edo tensei)

it is probably even harder to invent jutsu that are not even within one's nature affiliation or granted by Dojutsu or Kekkei Genkai
