It seems they did it without a place seal, this is why I think Minato uses a seal for ftg to conserve chakra. While Tobirama doesn't and therfore uses more chakra and can't spam it like Minato. Tobirama is a Senju he is expected to have larg chakra reserves, Minato on the other hand I would say above average but not large untill said otherwise.

It's not really said that it takes a lot of chakra...nor is it said Minato has GIGANTIC reserves...Minato uses the tags...no that's probably why it seem's like it's not much..

FTG takes 3 people to do not because it takes a lot of chakra, it's because those 3 only learned 1/3 of the technique each, FTG does not consume a lot of chakra, just think about how much chakra it would take to summon an object that's the size of a human...

Hashirama has bigger chakra reserves because it took Sakon and Ukon (2 people in CS2 mode) to summon 1 Rashoumon while he alone summoned 5
