They aren't rational; a simple question was asked and they can't answer it it's as simple as that.
They bring of fail comparisons, misuse Tobi's quote from when he met Sasuke.
Don't say I sound fanboyish just because I don't agree with your views, got it?
you sound fanboyish cuz ANYONE can see that many of their points are rational and you seem to completely refute them, hence it leads me to believe that you are one...whether that's true or not is irrelevant. I guess you will stick to your point to the death irregardless of what is thrown your way...but that's your option.
Clones aren't durable unless their Naruto's so they aren't good for long battles since Itachi doesn't have the chakra to spam clones like Naruto.....any other fail replies you want to give?
btw he doesn't need a thousand clones, lets be real you know how effective itachi is - if he used 5 he'd be a menace and as far as I see you have ZERO proof stating he cannot do this. Yes he doesn't have as much chakra as naruto, that's obvious...show scans proving he cannot use 5 or more or him saying he can't - reality is you'll find neither proof for your point OR mine -- (that's called being open minded btw) ur drawing assumptions - as to fail comments like I said shooting people's comments down even though they're rational - typical...a ninja the calibre of itachi unable to make 5 clones?? I'd love to see that explained.
Also Danzo's goons have different abilities than Itachi.
As much as I'd love to wise crack for this its not worth it and I'm tired responding, but yes obviously their abilities were different I was referencing a point at how tobi is not invinsible or that not only S/T can be used to defeat him or atleast I think that's wat it was about - at this stage I cannot remember lol
If he's intangible Tsukuyomi can't hit him since he's not this dimension.
You have a grand total of ZERO evidence that this is the case - stop fabricating - sight is sight and if he looks into itachi's eyes he is plucked...
Also he knows not to look into his eyes.
Yes and gee I wonder how he sucks people in?? ever saw him look down while suckin' in somebody? he faces his opponent directly with that one eye of his O_x ... it is after all an eye technique...now if you said maybe he can ketch him from behind that would be more plausible...still he'd have to come good to sneak up behind itachi.
If you wanna say fail comments etc - have a time and enjoy - I know many others will disagree with you, cuz I laid out simple facts without complications...deal with it however you like...anyway, the smug arrogant talk thing doesn't help ur debating. I'm not saying that is how you are as a person or wateva, however by the way you say things it may give that impression...
Having said all this I'd tell you one more thing...
1) As to the tobi was not afraid of itachi, that seems very subjective - on one level I can see the 'respect' aspect of it however on another level (based on his personality) i'd say he was afraid since interference from itachi would be a hindrance to his plans. Tobi like i said before is not one to care, if he believes he can overcome you and ur an obstacle he will. Furthermore if it was 'respect' or 'pact' why would itachi's death even matter? a pact would be a pact - dead or alive. Its the equivolent of you making me promise to give your family a million bucks and I agree, and then cuz you are no longer there, I don't...If after your gone I give the money to them then I did it outta 'respect'. If I kept it then I was only going to give it cuz you told me to do so...meaning it woulda been done out of fear for you or because I know if I kept it you would do something...
whether it was direct fear of itachi or fear that itachi would cause his plans to be severely altered it was still fear --- hence he was afraid of itachi - simple.
2) don't know how this turned into a tobi > itachi thread or vice versa but it was unnecessary. Incidently current tobi i'd say would beat itachi - I can't discredit his current level he is at right now...can't see itachi winning against him now...in the past I'd say it could go either way based on both their capabilities.
3) You genuinely come up with good points (not necessarily fully accurate) but good points all the same, which is why I was willing to listen to some of what you had to say - later down the road you started to stray.
