Not true. Edo Madara has Mokuton. That makes a world of difference, I believe. He also constantly regenerates.

Who ever said Madara is a tactical genius? He hasn't shown anything to prove him as a genius so far. Further supported by the fact that he died young. The true genius here is Tobi.
