The war was started because of his ambition. His ambition was fuelled by his hate. His hate started because of Rin's Death.

She is not the cause of the war, just the start of the man known as "Tobi".

If I read correctly Kakashi asked how did he survive after all that time. Then Obito said its because you let Rin die. Maybe I am misreading though.

When Obito unmasks Kisame recognizes his face as the same one as before and calls him 'Madara'. Therefore we can conclude that the long haired dude was Obito. I find it weird because characters don't normally grew their hair. Also, wouldn't Obito have to have been 9 to control the mizukage. Zabuza ended the period of the bloody mist when he graduated at age 9. He was the same age as Kakashi and Obito and therefore Obito would have been 9. It may be genjutsu by Obito but i hope Kishi explains this.

I don't think Rin's death is the full story... At least that's what I hope. Also, Obito doesn't seem that bothered talking about Rin. He even adds a "And don't make that booboo face, Kakashi" line right after bringing her up.

Remember; Obito can easily read his opponents... and he's a manipulator. He knows that Kakashi has a lot of regret and he might want to take advantage of that.

what i saw was a guy citing his grade school puppy love-crush as a reason for getting angry, then disappointed and eventually giving up hope, which means that of course he has feelings for her and that's disturbing.... dude, to be honest even if both Rin and Obito were adults and he still had feelings for someone who died like 15 years ago, that's still weird. i am not saying not being sad, but not allowing sth like this to become your motivation for doing or not doing certain things, like starting annihilation wars.

Yes, it`s weird and there is most likely alot more to come. Madara influencing him, him being mad at everyone and everything, him wanting a numb peaceful world. The war he started was for peace. His mind is just twisted. You saw how he acted back then when he was with Deidara. I think he is just crazy.

And then Obito "because you let rin die." showing that either he is mocking kakashi or that he truely didnt show he was alive because rin had died. Either way, my in my OP i was only trying to show that i dont believe Rin is the reason he turned evil.

i sadly got to agree with this^ cause seriously their ninjas their meant to survive near death experiences and make amazing combacks for entertainment plus it was obito who was facing the fourth using kamui so they were on even ground since it was a teleport based battle the fourth just outsmarted him i honestly dont see why people insist on making stupid excuses for why it cant be obito when it is obito.

Nagato was about 35-40 years old when he died, so Madara must have died atleast 30 years before current events. Not Obito, nor Shisui was alive at that moment.

So now we are confirmed one thing that tobi is really obito.
We have seen two obito's in this manga,

one is good obito and other is evil obito.

DO you guys really like obito turning evil?

Because for me ,
i really liked obito because of his heroic death.

But now when i know he was the one to bring on the war, turned evil, just because kakashi let rin die? i mean wtf...

Anyway tell me guys what do ya prefer, good obito or bad obito ?

Nobody, Madaras just boss like that. Madara will be the one to control everyone if the plan succeeds, unless Obito is stupid and thinks that he will, and at that point Madara will probably wreck his shit, become the jinchuriki and lose his life to plot no jutsu
