While rocks were falling on him, he awakened the intangibility and the body parts that the rocks were falling on moved to the other dimension, thats the only way I can see hoe he survived with only scars on his right side which was crushed before the ability awakened.
Some people might say hold on how can he do that rember when he awakened the sharingan it already had 2 tomoes so maybe his eyes had huge potential and were unique.

Obito being tobi... (NOT A TROLL)
For a start it is obviously proven that obito has some connection to the theory behind tobi, and obviously people need to get over it... ANYWAYS! Although obito's face is under tobi's mask... why would obito want to destroy the world? obito died a satisfying death, he left his one obtainable eye to his friend and died with a smile on his face thinking about his friends, and his body must have been burried because kakashi visited his grave often in the anime and it was mentioned in the manga to. Obito was a very average uchiha member even though his eyes had the potential for the mangekyo :/ So... In opposition to obito being tobi... (dont flame me) zetsu has the ability to copy the chakra of any living being and turn into that person, so it is still very possible that it is not the real obito but a zetsu copy that has remained intact for years and had obitos eye implanted into it. Also before people moan about the age difference, there is no reason why a zetsu copy cannot age since it will technically contain the DNA of the person it copied.
Zetsu has already been shown to be a part of tobi's body since he was able to detach his arm during the danzou fight.

Yes i know there are hundred of tobi threads but at least this one isnt moaning about how kishi screwed everyone over Which technically he hasnt yet coz the last chapter ended without a decent explaination... but anyways if u wanna moan u dont need to reply

Your right why would a one of the normal boring zetsu's that die instantly be tobi Still no reason why tobi couldnt be the ORIGINAL zetsu we still dont know how zetsu came into existance, since he is a mokuton based live form he may have been an attempt at cloning a real living human using the life energy of the mokuton No one knows yet, but the key to the whole manga is deffinately zetsu no matter how much anyone will bitch and moan

I was thinking about that to, and i thought that if tobi is the original zetsu (read my last reply) he would need to copy a uchiha who wouldnt cause suspision and obito is the perfect one since he was thought to be dead by everyone in that generation and was pretty much forgotton about bar kakashi and his friends. and since obitos eye was hidden behind that boulder that killed him, it was just laying there for someone to come along and take it if they moved the boulder. Which would explain the recent events in the manga as of now. There are still a lot of blanks regarding zetsu we dont know just how far his timeline goes.

I wouldn't really say he's strong. The only reason he's hard to beat is the fact that he plans for almost every outcome and he uses Kamui so he's insanely hard to hit. If anything, he'd be raw at dodge ball lol
