Yes, all of Akatsuki, even Pain had a vision of world peace. The point is, there are more sugar-coated ways of getting there and WE like to see the heroes winning.
every kind of peace is really easy to corrupt.
Tobi's way is probably the fastest and the one that takes least effort... yup!
People won't know the difference, it's just that our heroes don't want it...

xd ok, Orochimaru is not pure evil, he just wants to be immortal. He has taken ninja-science to great heights! He should probably make an Orochimaru School of Intense Forbidden Arts!
