Tobi is Nothing In This War Without Kabuto! - What Was He Thinking?

Im not exactly sure what plan allows him to take on the Shinobi Alliance, the 5 kages, Naruto + Bee (that hes having trouble with now) Without yamato to power up the Zetsu and Madara (although he may still come back through Rinnegan etc - he probably wouldn't have brought it out yet)

And yes, Anko was led to Base by Kabuto - but they were on Tobi's track anyway. What if Tobi had rejected Kabuto's offer.

Tobi isn't weak - ofcourse not, but i think the War would be in very different circumstances if Kabuto hadnt come along)

Unfortunately thats the problem when plans get changed, we dont get to see the original >.>

For all we know it may have tied into my Uchiha theory, perhaps he was going to bring back more than just Madara maybe he would have brought them all back.
Shisui could have altered the minds of many high level shinobi in the alliance, plus we dont know every Sharingans ability. A whole clan of Uchiha on the battlefield would be devastating when combined with the Zetsu's and the Heretical Demon Statue.

But we just dont know..............yet.....i still reckon we may see the original plan once Kabuto is out of the picture. Tobi is probably just using him to soften the enemy.

Yeah fair, ofcourse we cant go back and see how it wud hve gone without Kabuto intervening etc, and ive seen and +repped ur uchiha theory - it was really well thought out (and maybe even still a probality.
as for softening the enemy - i think Tobi is seriously trying atm, whats the point in trying to maintain the war for so long when he just wants the tailed beasts for the moonseye plan.

Tobi's plan was ok. The zetsus tie up the army and force naruto to come out of hiding. Tobi then swoops in and takes out Naruto. The main failing of the plan is him thinking he can take down Naruto + bee + the 5 kages, if Madara wasn't there to occupy the last group.

Yeah but Tobi isn't weak, - he did take on Minato head on - but he didnt have rinnegan, tailed beasts, etc, etc, etc during that time - but even with all those power ups, he still fails in this war.
He would definitly have lost if not for Kabuto
