If you take FTG from Minato away he's useless, if you take MS away from Itachi he's useless. Don't judge on a ability someone has, you can't take that away, Tobi has that ability and no one else has it, you can say all you want, if Madara wasn't Edo Tensei then he would be dead, bla bla bla if he wasn't this or he wasn't that bla bla, Tobi has the ability and you can't take that away, if Minato didn't have FTG then Naruto, Kushina and Minato would've died there, bear that in your mind that you should never say such things because it will make you look dumb.

First of all, there are no rules in a ninja battle, the user can use whatever jutsu or tool in his arsenal to win. Also, not only is deception and trickery allowed, it is in actual fact ENCOURAGED by teacher at the acedemy because it is part of the ninja way. This was already established quite early in the manga,.These are not samurai, these are shinobi, there are no rules my friend.
Also, what you're saying about Tobi avoiding attacks with his intangibilty does not make sense at all, I mean are you trying to say that he should just stand still and let the attacks hit him?
If that is indeed what you are saying, then you might as well say that Minato shouldn't use FTG to avoid all attacks and just allow them to hit him. Then you should also say that Itachi must put away sasuno'o and the Yata mirror and let people hit him. Or that the Raikage should deactivate his raiton armour and stop avoiding attacks with his speed. And so on and so on.
Remember that Tobi (as far as we know) created that jutsu by himself using his proficiency and understanding of space and time, saying that he is weak because of it is just a lame excuse.
You say he isn't stronger then Naruto, well we don't know about his BM mode, but he is certainly stronger then KM and Sage Naruto, he defeated Naruto twice already in that battle. Naruto had to have help in order to live as long as he has. The eight tails told him how to get rid of the chakra chains and gave him some of its power. That's how he escaped. The other time Tobi was about to rip out his soul with the human path, but naruto had to be saved AGAIN by Gai and Kakashi. Tobi has also won many battles, he beat Danzo's top elite guard on his own, beat Konan on his own, and don't go gripping about Izanagi, its his jutsu that he had to work hard for, unless you believe that stealing Hashirama's dna and performing the dna implant is an easy thing to do. Also there was a BIG sacrifice for that jutsu, he lost a sharingan eye in order to use it. Sneaking up on Konan? Really know, how are you supposed to beat summone who can just turn into paper when you attack with a head on attack, that's near impossible, besides, deception is a ninja tactic, Izanagi was his trump card, just like everyone has a trump card.
You say that Madara still fought on his own against Hashirama even with the Kyubi, well, Tobi still fought Minato on his own, sure he lost, but so did Madara.
Tobi is one of the most powerful shinobi in the series even without the bijuu or the rinnegan, it takes a special type of fighter to beat him. Saying he is weak because of ST jutsu is a contradictory statement, how many people do you know have the talent for ST jutsu that Tobi has?
