his mask is clearly based on what the Jyuubi's eye looks like... but if he did have a third eye, VERY UNLIKELY you'd think he'd want a Byakugan to go with his Sharingan/ Rinnegan

Having the Byakugan would be cool, but i doubt it. Those abilities don't really match what Tobi needs to complete his moons eye plan.

I think Tobi has a third eye which is a sharigan on his forhead. His current mask hask has three eye holes and one of them is in front of his forehead. In Chpt.508 when Konan blew off half his mask, you can see he has bandages over his forehead. I think thats how hes his ghost-like abilities.
