Tobi could be an Uzumaki ?

In the latest chapter 567, you can see Tobi uses the same chains that Kushina uses to help Naruto to fight the Nine tails. Tobi uses it on the 5 tails to subdue the beast.

Any theories on this ?

no tobi is not uzumaki he is uchiha and senju. well then again you could say uzumaki aswell cuz they are cousin clan. but tobi has uchiha and senju cells

True, but he weilds the chains that are the main abilities of the Uzumaki clan. He knows how to bind and do all the 'special' sealing or controlling methods in doing this. Yes he probably has all the DNA, but he knows how to control everything aswell

Now I'm not going to jump to any conclusions saying that he is directly related to naruto, but I did find it strange that he used a technique very similar to kushina's jutsu to restrain the rampaging beast. We know that tobi is being very secretive about his true identity so really anything is possible. People did for the longest time assume that he was an uchiha because of the sharingan, but this new jutsu hints that he may be an uzumaki. Right now I think that tobi is truly a nobody, as he said he was. I think he is just a ninja that comes from no special clan that is taking jutsu from many different clans in order to try to reach his ultimate goal of world domination.

Yes, perhaps... but he has to be someone of importance. Kishi is hiding it right in front of our face, but I won't make any assumptions yet..

I dont think this is true.. because the sharingan cant copy secret techniques, family secret techniques,aswell as kekkai kenkai obviously. you cant just copy a technique such as this..

tobi is unknown. and everytime he says something it is true and he knows alot of almost everything. but like kushina said the uzumaki clan were specialist at sealing techniques and ppl feared tobi could copied those techniques with his sharingan and he does have the rinnegan aswell. and DNA of almost every shinobi who ever lived

the more i think about it, the more i admire how well kishi is using tobi. to give so many hints yet give practically nothing away is really difficult, yet he's ruled no possibility out despite the information we've been given, and we're no closer to knowing who he is. he's brilliantly done.
