Tobi Cant Possibly be Madara.

Naruto chapter 521 page 2 might have the answer.

Kabuto seems to be addressing someone distinct from Tobi. I think that Tobi and Madara are not the same person.

I totally agree, so why would Tobi take Madara's name?? to be noticed and get respect or maybe to live on his memory...Tobi seems to speak very highly of Madara and Tobi seems as if he is old enough to know the 1 hokage and his wife. These clues and a list of others lead me to believe that Tobi is really Izuna Uchiha.

What if Tobi was Madara apprentice? And at the time of Madara's death took His name to carry out Madara's plan?

That would seem like it would fit but the way Tobi speaks so highly of Madara and was in complete shock when kabuto showed him his trump card....well this leads me to believe that this is more than just a student teacher relationship between Tobi and Madara. And the his desire for revenge is similar to that of Sasuke, this leads me to believe that Izuna Uchiha is Tobi....

i think tobi is really madara, kishi knew the whole mask thing would make people doubt he was madara and when he showed the coffin even more would, setting up the perfect twist to naruto

Why would Tobi really being Madara be any sort of twist when he said he was himself? That's like Kakashi turning out to really be Kakashi as a suprise when he takes off his own mask. It makes no sense does it?

Also, if there were two of him somehow, don't you think he'd feel a little uncomfortable leaving one of his bodies at the hands of Kabuto? I think out of all the edos to take control of, he'd want his original self beside him like he's doing with the Jinchurikis.
