For the past three years I have been working on a Naruto fan fiction/web comic called Not Naruto. I have the first chapter done, (I can share with anyone who wants to read it) but my problem is that, drawing so much is very hard and time consuming. (One of the reasons I respect real manga artists so much) Not to mention, I have about 6 full story arcs written up in detail. I just have to draw all of it. A lot of my friends lately have been telling me to just write it out. A text based fan fiction only. Maybe a few character pictures here and there, instead of the full fledged web comic.
The story takes place 244 years after naruto. (Yes, I had to thoroughly make up 244 years of history to avoid plot holes) It revolves around the main character, Katsumi Sarutobi, a young kunoichi who has large shoes to fill. Her father is the tenth hokage and her sister is the nine tails jinchuriki. There is so much of this storyline that is done and ready to be read. But if I do it in web comic form, it'll take forever to release all of it. So my question to you, narutobase, to web comic or not to web comic ? Should I just start to release a written text from of this fan fiction? I have so much of that part done already lol thanks you guys. -Hazard
