I have it. Not too many people are gonna love his new flow but I love it! His best album by far! AOTY!

This album is art. I mean it's so detailed, and he's actually using real instruments in his beats!! I love it. You can tell the difference, those processed beats have thinner vibrations.
Even though it's a mix of the familiar musically it's beautifully sculpted. It's so underground too, it has the changes in structure rather than how most main stream songs are structured.
My favorites so far are Institutionalized and You ain't got to lie, How much a dollar cost. But overall there is no way you'd be able to understand this album with one listen but I like it. And the album name and cover are so dope.
Lyrically it's perfect. Musically it's underground sounding but the funk vocals are a little annoying on some songs.

Objectively, it's good. Great, even. But subjectively, I just don't like it.
Having a message doesn't mean shit if it doesn't deliver good sound. I can't bump to this like I can with other music. Again, yeah it had a strong message which I really appreciate but I'll be skipping this every time it comes up on shuffle. I feel like he did this for the sake of his discography and Grammies more than anything.
And what was the point of using the live version of i? The negus ending was cool but still.

People who don't like this album cus they can't bump to it and think it's only good cus of the message need to listen to different kinds of music and get their taste up for real..

Production is decent.
Lyricism is okay.
Nothing about him as a rapper stands out though and a lot of his songs are just filler.
He's quite possibly one of the most overrated right now.
