If Mr.3 ain't there to give Luffy the champion armor than it's an easy win for Magellan. Luffy won't be able to touch him, and personaly I think Magellan is just as strong as Akainu, Aokiji and Kizaru if not stronger. He's been able to keep all those strong prisoners inside Impel Down for such a long time, don't understimate him. If it wheren't for that jail keeper, Blackbeard would've been dead after facing him, and if it wheren't for Ivan, Luffy would've been dead aswell.

Okay i will tell you.
The answer is speed.
Luffy goes to gear second. Gets speed.
Gear third. Elephant gun.
Then he uses whatever it is and it becomes stell or black (whatever it is).
Then uses haki to predict his attacks and then uses haoshoku haki to power up his defenses and attacks.
ONe hit ko magellan. Duo to haki,gear second,the stell of elephant gun and gomu-gomu fruit,antibiotics in his body luffy is saved. The poison is only on his hand an on the rest of his body nothing.Antibiotics and the rest of the things clear the poison on hands.

how far are u into the anime? did u not see how luffy got stung by the octopus's poison...he didn even notice it. which would have killed a normal person(the octopus was worried luffy's gonna be killed). so magellan's poison would have very little to no effect. only his physical attacks would do damage, that wont have much effect either since luffy can use haki armor. so if he can attack effectively how is he expected to defeat luffy?
luffy on the other hand has strong physical attacks and thanks to his haki, he can actually land hits on magellan now.
lol, I've seen all the anime eps and read all the manga chaps. Remember that Magellan's poison nearly killed the man who made Luffy imune to that poison from the octopus, that means that Magellans's poison are alot stronger.
Yea, Ivan-San. And Ivan didn't get the strongest type of Poison, the red type. Luffy can't use the Haki armor either, atleast as far as I remember. He's not THAT good with Haki yet. And if Ivan barerly survived when having all that healing shiz inside him, why would Luffy be better against it?and who is that man? ivankov? a doctor isnt necessarily immune to all disease

he can use haki armor (this isnt the right term)..thats what he used against the kraken to make his elephant gun hard. he was able to take out 50,000 fishmen with one shot i'd say its preti good..not in the level of SR but still a formidable ability i'd say. he took down hody (underwater+steroids) with one shot, he took down caribou (200mil bounty) with one shot. once his on land he'l def be able to take magellan in imo
yea i agree with that but i think thats why oda took this break to think of new challenges in the new world. b'cuz whitebeards crew was suppose to be the strongest in the new world, besides a few luffy would be able to take on a lot of them (from what we've seen in the war). besides im guessing there is more than strength req to become pirate king...u memeba when WB was dying he told BB he doesnt have what it takes to become the PK..im guessing theres more behind why WB took a liking to luffy. in terms of op..im sure oda won't disappoint like kishi
True. But also remember that WB was considered the strongest in his prime, he wasn't in his prime when he fought in the war of the best, so I think we'll get some big shocks. And BB's now got his DF, and he's a yonkou... He's a dangerous man.
even the current luffy doesnt stand a chances against old WB..i was referring to the crew and allies...these guys had a "don't mess with me or i'l f u up" kind of rep in the new world..didn seem all that..a wasted luffy outdid 95%of them now luffy A LOT stronger...even BB as u said wiping out WB teritory like nothing. thats why i think marco will join SH, has a motive (revenge ace n WB), luffy was liked by wb..so marco carries the same will...no other crew would challenge BB. also the SH doesnt hav a logia..marco probably has the rarest of them all..that is ofcuz if BB didnt yank it out of him alredi lol

Now, Marco joining SH is something i belive can happen, but then I hope Vista joins aswell. And we didn't get to see the WB crew go all out, personaly I was dissapointed in Marco, he almost didn't do a thing. Their plan was to get Ace and gtfo.

yea marco is suppose to be the stongest in their crew n he did the least... the likelihood of vista joining imo is less since they have zoro...and that also givs SH someone that can fly..though robin might have increased the duration of her flight time

YOu really think that marco didnt do nothing.
He fought 3 admirals.
First he fought against kizaru and with haki sent kizaru in the walls.
He then regenerated from his power.
Then he saved whitebeard. Then he fought aokiji. Then they put seastones on his hands and kizaru shot him 5 times in the chest. Then he got out somehow and again saved himself. And then fought akainu and saved luffy.
Then you can say all you want but marco has surely did a lot. All what luffy did is being beated down against strong ones.Only one good thing he did was when he used haki.
Vista cant join the straw hats. He isnt a kind of type. And that would be already to weird. Then there would be too much straw hats to follow.
Do you get that every straw hat that joins luffy first has his own arc and that he is very important.
Jinbei already had his arc. Aokiji can have his arc (i think he is now the biggest person about who people wonder what is he doing), Boa had or can have her arc. Marco too can have his arc.He is the SECOND IN command with whitebeard but now without whitebeard he is the captain. Plus he is the most who cared about whitebeard and ace.Vista cant have his own arc.He is not important.
I would guess that luffy would be thrilled to see marco again and his powers.

-last i cheked whitebeard didnt need saving
-thats pretty poor considering ace (very little strength) nullified aokiji's attack
