I actually am enjoying some of these fillers. I didn't particularly like Yamato's backstory (actually i think it was done horribly) but I like the things involving stuff we already know. Sometimes I forget its filler (that can happen when a filler "fills" in parts of the story already established).
However much of the timeline is wrong. First of all:
They said that itachi was the youngest anbu at age of eleven, but we know that yamata was in danzo's anbu (which is still anbu) younger than ten years old.
When itachi shows up in the village in part one, he acts like he's familiar with who kakashi is, but not that he knows him personally. Certainly not like he's his "superior". He also seemed surprised at kakashi's mastery of the sharingan, yet he has a full discussion about his sharingan in this episode.
Itachi should be much older than 11 years old. We know that at the time of the nine tails invasion, itachi was around 7 years old. According to these fillers, 4 years had past between the 9 tails invasion, and yamato trying to kill kakashi. well now even MORE time has passed. Both kakashi's voice is deeper, asuma's growing a beard, and yamato is significantly older. Sasuke looks about the same age he was during the uchiha masacre, showing that this event likely takes place in no more than a year from now (its shown in the preview to the next episode). that means sasuke is 7 years old, so itachi should be at least 14 or 15. but itachi was captain of the anbu when he was twelve? How does that make sense?
I feel like kakashi should have already left the anbu by the time itachi joined. Also they're showing itachi like this hardened killer. He cried like a baby when he killed his parents. It just doesn't fit. Itachi was "truly gentle"
