First I'll need to teach you how to make these special seals, watch closely.
I take a plain special paper and draw a few strokes making a seal
(Raiton: Hekireki Gekido) - Lightning Style: Thunder Rage

Description: To first thing needed to perform this jutsu is to put special seals on the location for attack to hit. It can be put on opponents, objects or on the kunai. After setting the seal(s), the user does a handseal and then lightning strikes from the sky will hit the locations of the seal(s). If the opponent tries to escape with the seal on them, the lightning strikes will follow them till they hit the seal.
Note: Only useable 3 times per battle.

I do the Tiger handseal, with the tags acting as beacons, lightning strike emanate from the sky, striking the tags and demolishing whatever was near them.
Question, I have a question.
If I multiply the tags through the use of a Jutsu, it will presumably result in more lightning strikes that will hit and cover a larger area right?
Also, are the strikes called down immediately once the handseal has been performed? Is it one Lightning bolt per tag? Or are strikes continuously poured down until the tag is destroyed?

You can have multiple seals at the same time, however they divide in power when used simultaneously.
The lightning comes down as soon as you make the handseal, one lightning will strike one seal until its destroyed.

The size of this technique depends completely on how much chakra is used, but can be large enough to buffet a large summoning such as Gamabunta.

Well, scientifically speaking every 1km below underground you go raises the temperature to around 30c. Which is the basis of this technique; the user gathers water particles from deep underground with water chakra and using the temperature that comes along with it, erupts at his/her opponent.
