Chapter 5: Sage Mode, Cancelled?!
Naruto: What the hell are you talking about?
Idara: Simple. I'm absorbing all the Nature Energy around here. You're Sage Mode is useless.
Noime(thinking): I can't just stand here! (Outloud): I'll keep him busy. You guys come up with a plan!
Noime rushed over to Idara.
Noime: Thor!
Purple lightning surged around his fist. He swung at Idara. Idara dodged. He swung at Noime, who blocked. Then, they began to engage in simple taijutsu.
Kakashi: Noime can't win agaisnt Idara. I don't have much chakra left, Guy's team was defeated and Naruto can't use his best weapon. I've only got one more chance at Kamui.
Naruto: No, I've got a plan.
Yamato: Really? It's not like you to come up with plans.
Naruto: Yamato, try and trap him with your wood. I'll take him out with Rasenshuriken.
Yamato nodded. He clasped his hands and wood burst from the ground and began wrapping around Idara. He scoffed and let out an electrical surge that demolished the wood.
Yamato: Damn it!
Naruto made five clones. Two of them started making a Rasengan. The other one rushed towards Idara with a giant shuriken in hand. The clone threw the shuriken. Idara dodged and punched the clone.
Naruto-clone: Gotcha.
The two clones making the Rasengan rushed towards Idara. The clone he punched vanished in a puff of smoke. The smoke blinded Idara for a second. The clones charged into the smoke but hit nothing.
Clone: Huh?!
Idara appeared behind them and grabbed them by their necks.
Idara: Hercules.
He broke their necks, causing them to vanish. He turned and saw Naruto with a Rasenshuriken in hand.
Yamato( thinking): Naruto is taking a risk, since the Rasenshuriken damages his arm when it isn't thrown.
Noime rushed back towards Idara, but was struck with a powerful backhand. Noime went flying into a building. Kakashi quickly made some hand signs. He launched a Fire Ball at Idara. Idara scoffed and jumped over it. He landed in front of Kakashi and started swinging at him, but Kakashi blocked all of his strikes.
Naruto: Now!
Kakashi jumped, right over a charging Naruto.
Idara: What?!
Naruto pushed the Rasenshuriken towards him. With a loud grunt, Idara jumped over Naruto.
Naruto: No!
Idara laughed while he was in the air, but his triumph was short lived. Kakashi had snuck up behind him and destroyed the bulb on his back that was absorbing Nature Energy from the barrier that Idara put around the village. Kakashi groaned and pulled his hand from Idara's armor and landed next to Yamato.
Yamato: Good job.
Kakashi: This guy is gonna hard to beat. If Naruto's Rasenshuriken had hit Idara, he would still be able to fight. I know my Lightning Blade is significantly weaker than Rasenshuriken, but I could tell from the way my Lightning Blade barely pierced his armor, the Rasenshuriken would destroy about half of it.
Yamato: So I guess we're in a bad situation here.
Naruto turned towards Idara with a growl.
Idara: Don't give me that look. I told you all I wanted was the Sharingan. You made this into an attack on the village.
Naruto(slowly): There is no way in Hell I'm letting you get away with this.
Naruto created two clones.
Naruto(thinking): I've got one more shot at Rasenshuriken.
The two clones charged at Idara with kunai in their hands.
Idara: Pathetic, really!
Idara easily defeated the clones with two swift punches.
Naruto created three more clones. Him and two of them made a Rasenshuriken.
Idara: You're a one trick pony, aint you?
Naruto laughed.
Kakashi made a Lightning Blade.
Kakashi: I'll back you up.
Kakashi rushed towards Idara.
Idara scoffed.
Idara: Really? Man you shinobi are more boring than I thought.
Kakashi was a few feet from him, then he vanished.
Idara:You know I can sense you cause of the barrier.
Kakashi appeared behind Idara. Idara hit with Kakashi with a backhand.
Noime appeared in front of him and swung at him. Idara blocked. Kakashi came up behind him and shattered the bulb creating the barrier around the village.
Idara gasped. In a fit of fury, he smacked Kakashi into a house. Then, he lifted Noime and slammed him into the ground. He turned and saw something that made his blood run cold. Naruto was in Sage Mode. He had his hands folded and his eyes closed. Naruto opened his eyes.
Naruto: Now we fight for real!
