Both of the scans translate the Sage's saying into that Naruto's opinions would change if he were to reveal his name, just like his "forerunners"/"predecessors".

Now there is only 1 person who tried to accomplish what Naruto and Rikudou are tryng to accomplish and that was Hashirama, with the whole unification of the shinobi world and world peace. So the sage met him?

Were there other people who he met before him? And for some reason it seems like all this was going to happen.

No no no no no. You're look at it to linear. Hashirama and Madara weren't the only strong leaders of Uchiha and Senju. It could have been people way before them. Thanks for proving Hashirama and Madara were not the reincarnations.

My money is on Hashirama or Jiraiya,they both shared the Sage's ideals on peace and they knew about him as well.Jiraiya was also the one who gave Naruto his current ideals as well.

Madara explained about Shinju and Juubi relation and about Kaguya, both of the things were clearly stated by Rikkudou himself.
If they weren't told the story, what is the purpose of SO6P meeting?
About Rinnegan techs and Juubi, even Jiraiya knew about Rinnegan, so it is more like a myth passed down the generations, so it isn't big thing.u.u

I'm guessing the "curse of hatred." Is really just the generations of ninjas that Ashura and Indra reincarnated to finish their battles. However, Ashura clearly wasn't reincarnated into Hashirama.

Very clear contrast between Hashirama and Ashura. Ashura was a bumbling idiot who was helpless like Naruto until he earned people's respect in order to have them help him become strong. Hashirama was a prodigy. Madara was stronger than some experience senjus while Hashirama was stronger than him, clearly a prodigy. Ashura believed that cooperation was the key. Hashirama wanted the world to cooperate, but once he founded the village, he gave up on cooperation hence "If someone tries to harm the village, I'll never forgive them." Big differences.
