2. Doton is weak against lightning because it can easily move through earth and break it apart
3. However Doton is strong against Suiton as the earth naturally absorbs water.

Izuna takes the piece of paper hesitantly knowing that his older brother completed this very task the first time, he takes hold of the piece of paper holding it with his thumbs. The paper stays stagnant as he begins channeling very little chakra through it but then thinks harder about surpassing his brother and father and starts adding more and more chakra, the paper it begins to disintegrate; crumbling before his very eyes.

"Sensei I completed this task for you!" Izuna says letting out a sigh of relief

(Doton No Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique

Type: Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth

Pretty much all you have to do, is gather a small amount of doton chakra, then send the chakra into the ground, then manipulate the earth around you to create small pillars/tools and shields of earth.

The pillars is probably the most useful thing when it comes to this techniques since you can make one under your feet to boost you up into the air if you wish.

• 1. With this jutsu all I have to do is use the surrounding terrain to my advantage
• 2. This is a great defense against low ranking Suiton attacks
• 3. This allows quick access to weapons without the need to carry or summon them

• 1. Raiton techniques can easily counter this technique
• 2. It will not do much damage to stronger ninja
• 3. Most Doton techniques are stronger

How you would use it in battle: I would use this as a suprise attack drawing a earth kunai to attack an offguard opponent, and to boost myself up in the air to avoid mine and other low to the ground earth techniques such as Katon and Suiton techniques
How you would counter it: I would counter it by channelling Raiton chakra in the ground causing the shield/tool/pillar to break the ground that is being used apart and than I would attack my opponent
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): As I do not require hand signs to preform this jutsu I simply channel the Doton chakra through my body and into the earth allowing me to reform the earth to my advantage whether it be a kunai or pillars

(Doton: Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique

Description: The user, emerging from the ground below the target area, pulls down the opponent so that only their head is above ground. Unable to move, the opponent can easily be decapitated or tortured.

Gather you doton chakra, then send it into the ground below your feet, turning it into a sand like feel, so you can slowly fall into the earth, once underground, find my clone and grab his feet and pull him underground and, pull yourself up.

• 1. This technique is very useful against Suiton users as they could only turn the sand into a muddy slush
• 2. this renders any opponent incapable of performing hand seals
• 3. This jutsu is simple and deadly

• 1. It's very easily negated by Raiton (chidori Nagashi for example)
• 2. It could very well be possibly I use it on a clone by mistake leaving me open to attack
• 3. Substitution may also render this jutsu useless

How you would use it in battle: I would use it while someone is performing a jutsu (fireball technique, or water dragon jutsu for example) and after they finish the jutsu I would pull them under and decapitate them swiftly
How you would counter it: By using clones or substitutions after an opponent tries getting me I would simply counter attack him in the midst of his confusion/shock
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):I would use it as a counter, to hopefully end a battle quickly or at least create a diversion for stronger opponents, especially as they're attacking with a jutsu that takes a few seconds to complete (goukakyu no jutsu)

The tech, you can use the staff as either a melee weapon or throw it, or even create several staffs and lunch them, but with less accuracy.

• 1. This technique allows me to create a weapon in almost any environment
• 2. I can easily launch these staffs as projectiles without draining much chakra
• 3. By spinning it I can use it as a shield against kunai

• 1. Against Raiton it would simply crumble
• 2. This jutsu is weak against actual steel weapons
• 3. Against stronger opponents this is not very useful

How you would use it in battle: If I found myself cornered I would use it as a makeshift weapon and hit my enemy in his clavicle or jugular and render them unconscious
How you would counter it: By using Suiton I could just turn it to mud since this is one of the times that Suiton could affect Doton negatively
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): By channeling my Doton chakra into the ground I would pull out a chunk of earth and slide my hands trough it to turn it into a long earth staff

Description: The user will concentrate their chakra into their arm and then release their chakra creating a ring of rocks that are then flung at the opponent.

First, gather your doton chakra into your left arm, from there release the doton chakra from your arm, doing this it should create a ring of rocks that can be flung at your target.

• 1. It doesn't require a source of earth so I can preform this virtually anywhere
• 2. This jutsu it's a great alternative for kunai and shuriken
• 3. The jutsu is unexpected and is truly ninja like

• 1. Raiton can easily render the jutsu useless
• 2. It's weaker against higher level jutsu (fireball jutsu for example)
• 3. The jutsu can only be used with your left arm (i think) therefore if your arm is incapable of performing the jutsu won't be able to be used

How you would use it in battle: I would use it to go on the offensive and to start off a battle or as a diversion for a stronger attack
How you would counter it: Possibly a jutsu like chidori senbon, or with a more powerful jutsu like fireball jutsu or I would use earth staff to break the jutsu
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): By gathering Doton in my left arm, I make generate the earth from my body and launch it by flinging my arm fast in the air

First put your doton chakra into the earth, the perform the Rat hand seal, then you will be able to control sections of rock and move them around your target, then form two huge sections that crush your target.

• 1. The jutsu is simple though deadly and able to incapacitate if not defeat most enemies
• 2. The jutsu uses a substance I can find readily in almost any location
• 3. The jutsu requires very little prep time and can be done with precision

• 1. lightning release users of an advanced level can simply crumble the rock away
• 2. this jutsu can be avoided by more agile ninjas
• 3. Strong taijutsu users can stop this jutsu with their hand and/or legs Bruce Lee/Superman Style

How you would use it in battle: I would use it as a beginning move to either test, distract, or incapacitate my victim and than I would use a stronger jutsu to make a quick combo
How you would counter it: By burrowing underground (double suicide decapitation technique), or going high in the air using pillars (Doton no jutsu)
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I channel chakra into the earth bellow my feet the chakra is than channeled to the earth bellow my opponents feet parallels, I than use the rat handseal to compete the task and run the chakra making the earth rise and collide on my opponent crushing him/her

L performs the rat handseal and begins channeling the chakra through the earth causing two boulders to form, as Castiels clone begins to look around I than seal the deal and manipulate the boulders causing them to crush Castiels clone

Well done, moving onto the next technique.

(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

This is a handy jutsu. This technique is used by many.
Channel your doton chakra at your feet, the earth should change into fine sand if done correctly, this gives you the power to dig though the earth like a mold. You're able to sense what is happening above and whatnot. But don't stay down there too long as, your target can counter this rather easy.
