yes u r right but ur missing something that we dont know full strength of jiraya he was just spying when he fought with pein.when he fought with hanzu he was just age of 25-30 and now he was about age 50 should have more experience and learned more justu. when three fought with hanzo at that time oro was still in konoha after he left village only he got stronger. coming to itachi yes he was stronger and given some power to naruto but in front of jiraya and oro itachi may fail.thats wat i think

itachi was best but not good againist 3 sannins.one on one he may be having a chance but combined he may be failed bcuase jiraya in sage mode he can have lot of chakra and we dont know in sage mode what he can do.if oro is at full potential he may not directly attacking itachi.
i think tsuanade might die if jaraiya doesnt save her but she is the only one likely to die because she fights at close range and as far as j-man and oro if itachi said even if him and the shark skin dude may have not been able to survive against j-man wut makes u think he can face both of them and as far as using that summoning i still dont think j-man will be takin down that easily by it in sage mode he may be able to avoid it and lets not forget about his vocal genjutsu

Plz, don't overestimate sannins. They win easily. I say easily. Itachi has less advantage one vs. three. Jiraiya beats him himself. Other both can help him and finish Itachi easily. Though Don't get me wrong, I am THE BIG fan of Itachi. But this is truth.

This how it is going to turn out
Orochimaru gets ended before he even has time to think of attacking....and then, Jiraiya vs Itachi. Tsunade evades all of Itachi's attacks and heals whatever wounds he inflicts on Jiraiya...We still don't know how good she is with genjutsu so...

oh wow, is this really a thread? the sannin would laugh itachi to death from the difference in power.
-tsunade doesn't die in combat, unless she is hit with susano'o. so tsukuyomi and even amaterasu won't work, she regenerates too quickly.
-orochimaru can most likely overcome tsukuyomi and as we've already seen can survive amaterasu easily. but also falls to susano'o.
-jiraiya can just go hermit mode and pwn itachi by himself but when you throw in orochimaru and tsunade, this fight is WAY overkill.

i don't know ... all this sharingan hype... if the sharingan were powerful enough to kill 1 senju , 1 frog-sage and one living snake... why didn't they rule konoha in the first place?

One on one Oro goes down without a fight. Sharingan > Oro very very badly. I think same would go for Tsunade. Itachi vs. Jiraiya would be a very good fight and I think Itachi would come out on top but barely. A double KO maybe.
Three on one though, Sannin with ease.

itachi would win because he would use his powerful genijutsu on all three of them and they would tire out and itachi would just finish them off

If the fight was one on one then I think Itachi would most likely win but, against all three he would lose. Tsunade is a great healer, Orochimaru can shed bodies like a snake sheds skin, and Jiraiya can use sage mode with ma and pa frog. Genjutsu won't do any good if there are other people around to break it. I think all three sannin are fast enough to avoid amaretsu and if one does get hit I'm sure someone will be able to seal it away. I don't think susanoo would save Itachi though. It probably takes a HUGE amount of chakra and the sword of tatsuka can be dodged. If Itachi does use it I think all they would have to do is dodge until Itachi runs out of chakra, which probably wouldn't take long. Two of the sannin and Itachi would probably die of chakra depletion.

2. I believe Itachi lied to Kisame, saying that Jiraiya could kill both of them, as he was always a double agent, preventing Madara's attack against Konoha. But who knows? Cause if he was a double agent all this time, why did he try to kill Kurenai and Kakashi?
3. Yeah Itachi cut off Orochimaru's hand, but against 3 sannins at the same time, he wouldn't get that chance.
At the start of the fight, Itachi would become overwhelmed.
Katon jutsus and shadow clone explosions vs. (Jiraiya-Toad mouth traps, toads spitting fire, needle barrage, rasengan) + (Tsunade- earth shockwaves, raw taijutsu, offensive medical ninjutsu like the limb disorientation thingy used on Kabuto) + (Oro's - a million snakes, kusanagi sword, many ninjutsu)
So Itachi will have to turn to Susanoo pretty quickly, which takes up so much chakra, especially when fighting against 3 sannins.
So Susanoo + sword of totsuka + yata's mirror versus Katsuyu, Gamabunta, Manda (or other huge snake(s)). This fight will be so long and drawn out. Yeah Susanoo could defend against anything, but it is also attacking 3 huge, experienced summons, with 3 sannins who would have more chakra to fight at this point.
Amaterasu - well Orochimaru could use Rashoumon, or 2 or 3 of them. And if he get's hit, he has that last gasp special substitution that will drain all his chakra. I believe Tsunade can regenerate from anything. Jiraiya could die from Amaterasu, but he could also seal it away while the others fight, so it depends.
Meanwhile, MS genjutsu could take out any of the 3 in an instant.
So my conclusion is... 2 Sannin win (Orochimaru and Tsunade). Jiraiya dies from MS exhaustion cause Itachi would most likely target him. Itachi dies using Susanoo from exhaustion.
