Well, that depends. Nowadays, women are technically treated better whether they deserve it or not in certain fields. For example, at my school we just finished reading MacBeth and Shakespeare included a lot of things that made manliness seem like the better quality. The first thing I heard most of the girls say was "Feminist" even though they must have meant "Anti-Feminist". That caught my attention to how situations like that women get more opportunities because certain people are afraid of the word.
Similar to racist, you don't typically hear Caucasian people say "The N word" because they are afraid of being call racist. Therefore, you see them and other people typically avoid the word.
In case you didn't get it cause I know I can be confusing sometimes: I feel like the word strikes fear into people causing them to give more opportunities to women to avoid being called "Anti Feminist" but then causing inequality between the genders again. Like I said before, I'm down for equality for all... But I feel like in this situation is creates more inequality. My thoughts aren't really solid, that's why I am asking for other opinions.
