Here's the first version of it, that I wrote last night while bored on my lunch break.

The days were black and bleak
When God rained down bis judgement
Humanity was drunk on power yet weak
And the Lord made his last statement
Those were the days of the end
Brothers turned on one another
And enemies came out of a friend
Sons & daughters even turned on their mother
Still people wondered why God damned those days
Humanity blamed each other for their own hate
And man worshiped their own wicked ways
Still no one realized they’d sealed their own fate
Those were the days of the end
No one believed it was their own fate they’d created
No one even believed in having a lover or a friend
It was as if it was everyone but them they hated
The days went from bleak back to black
But God made sure it was permanent
This time there was no coming back
And humanity was lost to his judgement
