I feel I'm the only one who genuinely has enjoyed the anime and manga for what it is...

Bleach isn't even about killing hollows anymore...
Dragonballz wasent always just about the dragon balls but they had an important roll...
Fullmetal alchemist became more then just getting their mom back with their limbs and body.
Zoids was more then just finding that girls memories and figuring out where she came from.
Deadman wounderland wasent just about Ganta trying to break out but helping his Friends he's made and fighting to survive.

No all animes/mangas stay the same the whole way through....

like really, i enjoyed the arcs that were like the village hidden in the mist and building the Naruto Bridge. That kind of stuff was what made the manga appealing to me in the first place. poor kishi, getting on the omega alpha badass final boss bandwagon.

I do kinda miss the fist to fist ninja battles.

The sasuke/danzo battle was a very good balance of OP (susanoo) and ninja skills. summoning (jiraiya vs pain) was more appropriate and on point.

However, the anime IS escalating to a climax. c'mon, we now have the Juubi, which previously just a legend. we have madara and hashirama, the two how by far were always known to be on boss level.

We have naruto now a perfect jinchuriki of the kyuubi, the same kyuubi who attacked konoah...

i guess thats why the others have been left behind and starting to look like fodder.

I have to agree, in his defense though I could say that every manga/anime has to have a conclusion (a falling action) and it would seem that this will be the second to or last arc of naruto.

as the story goes on it has to change or else it wud be boring...but i think one piece is an exception oda managed to keep the manga the same as beginning but more interesting

One Piece is the great exception to this rule, they finally did a time-skip and in that time-skip Luffy refined his powers, they did not make him OP boss status, but they did infact power him up for the fact that he trained for 3 whole years, this is acceptable to me. The beginning of shippuden was alright as well, the whole mission to save garra made me feel like part 1 again. I'd just like to see more chapters more often, at the pace this manga is going I just don't understand why Kishi wouldn't want to finish it up and just expand on the fodder a bit more, he has a fan base, finish the main story line, continue with fodder filler as a lot of people find it interesting.

Not going to lie, those missions were really fun to watch and the chuunin exams loved those arcs brings back memories. Although I love Naruto, I have to say Mangas like Death Note and Code Geass are more enjoyable because they're short.
