like really, i enjoyed the arcs that were like the village hidden in the mist and building the Naruto Bridge. That kind of stuff was what made the manga appealing to me in the first place. poor kishi, getting on the omega alpha badass final boss bandwagon.

If you want to watch missions and stuff just watch the anime, the filler has plenty of those to even it out and they're of good quality like the 4th Hokage's legacy and so forth, but the Haku/Zabuza arc was dreadful and i'm glad we've gone into actual drama.

I hate the adventuring kinda of animes, Samurai Champloo does it a lot and even that gets annoying.

Well, there was the Sannin battle in Part 1, where three giant summons battled and Jiraiya used one of the biggest Katon techs yet. Then there was Gaara who completely transformed into Shukaku and nearly destroyed the forest.

I think the way people fought at the start was too limited, there isn't room for improvement. Besides, Naruto himself was never a good ninja to begin with.

...although I agree that dropping meteors on people is just too much.

I feel I'm the only one who genuinely has enjoyed the anime and manga for what it is...

Bleach isn't even about killing hollows anymore...
Dragonballz wasent always just about the dragon balls but they had an important roll...
Fullmetal alchemist became more then just getting their mom back with their limbs and body.
Zoids was more then just finding that girls memories and figuring out where she came from.
Deadman wounderland wasent just about Ganta trying to break out but helping his Friends he has made and fighting to survive.

No all animes/mangas stay the same the whole way through....
