He just said imprisoned for LIFE , they put him in the manga too temporality , Kakashi just meant that he normally should have stayed there for life

Doubtful, sp conviniently took out him just saying "yeah sorry" (iirc)into actually being punished. Him just being all "yeah sorry" in the manga seems like they didn't do anything to him at all, slap on the wrist maybe?
