Shit episode. Sarada was extremely OOC.
They made Sarada act reckless. They really did it. They could've found hundreds of ways to make her go down, but they chose the one thing they cannot make Sarada, that is to be reckless. lmao

Let's not blame Sakura or Sasuke for SP's shit writing.
We all know for a fact Sarada isn't reckless. They could've chosen literally anything to make Sarada go down, but they chose the one thing they couldn't out of a billion. lmao

Lets not blame SP cuz they decided to show part of Sakura character in Sarada. Remenber that unlike the clone (Boorbruto) she has personality of both parents. =D

It was actually a great episode. Sarada May have lost, but it wasn’t to ninja tools. Boruto realization that he was manipulated and the crowd’s reaction hit home harder than it did in the movie.
Shikadai’s disappointment and how he let everyone down. His closest friends weren’t mad, they were disappointed. Sarada and Shikadai expression said it all.
They knew he could do better, Sarada watched him give everything into training so her disappointment and sense of betrayal was noted so well.

:salt:y butt losing composure is a Sasuke trait especially when he gets annoyed. I haven't see it yet so I can't comment for definite, however it seems SP decided to add out of character filler because there was no other way to eliminate Sarada.

Sarada didn’t lose composure in my opinion, like Boruto she was low on chakra and had to bet it all on one attack. Boruto just had the tool.
Both would have lost due to lack of intel on shinki his arsenal was immune to lightning damn near and he had the advantage of defense, ranged attack and aerial superiority.
Boruto should have done a better job watching her flank or warning her of the iron sand on her back.
This loss in no way effects her character, she did well. Boruto on the other hand has to overcome this humiliation

Nope. He did this like 3 times in entire series. But Sakura gets angry and even punches her comrades everytime when she thinks that they did something inappropiate or just acting dumb. So you better admit that Sarada becomes Sakura 2.0

They weren't suited for him because they understandably weren't prepped. Look at Part One. Due to their being alot of participants left after the second stage, the prelimaries were held to reduce them down to single digits. This also allowed them to gain Intel on each others fighting style. Afterward Hurizen declared that the finals would be held a month later. Thus giving them to train specifically for their upcoming matches.
Meanwhile in Boruto, there was no such convience. Furthermore, unlike his opponents, Shinki was heavily trained by his Kage level Parent, stated to have been taught everything Gaara knows. Boruto & Sarada were garbage compared to him due to the aforementioned conditions.
Now imagine a Part One Chunin finals held like 1-3 days after the Forest of Death. Just giving the participants enough time to recover. Neji would have destroyed Naruto, Gaara would have destroyed Sasuke, Shikamaru would have beaten Temari then quit. Shino would likely beat Kankuro unless he uses that poison spray which would make it a tie. Maybe he wouldn't use it due to the audience and even if he did then Shino may be declared the winner due to being the last one standing. Or they would both be eliminated due to tieing like Sakura and Ino.
Nonethless, Gaara Vs Temari = Temari withdrawing. Gaara vs Temari Vs Shino = G & T whipping Shino then T withdrawing.
With no prep Gaara and Shinki easily win the exams and Dr.Proof fanboys and trolls all the salty bases.

Sarada lacks the skill and chakra reserves needed for Chidori.

Sarada just learned the Fire Ball technique which Sasuke learned/mastered at 7/8, and she admittedly hasn't mastered. Chidori is way more advanced, plus she doesn't have the speed required, and her chakra reserves are considerably less than Sasuke's. Chidori was stated to require a massive amount of chakra.

Episode was great & Boruto x Sarada convos were badass
but anyway since Purole Lightning can pierce his iron sand. All of team 7 will be stronger than Shinki in the near future
