I don’t read novels nor watch the anime so untill it happen in the manga, it didn’t happen to me. The manga is the actual story and that’s all that matters, everything else is really just filler tbh. And in the manga sasuke hasn’t taught sarada shit but a fireball Jutsu and they off screened that :tea:

You don't determine what's canon or not. An anime/novel arc was even addressed in the manga despite them skipping over it (the trip to the mist).
