and sasuke lost a whole clan and didn't get the MS and 1 girl dies and obito gets MS it doesn't seem reasonable

Well, maybe awakening MS requires a certain chakra strength level or something? Maybe that's why Obito got it easier than Sasuke, with his Hashi dna from Zetsu.

Though I strongly doubt Madara has anything to do with Rin's death. If he had, Obito would never symphatize with him. If Rin however is a casualty of the shinobi system, Madara will logically be able to influence Obito and

I'm guessing that you think it's like a Spider-Man/Venom thing. Your theory might be right, maybe he'll soon take control of Obito's body & kill Rin. But I don't understand how Madara would know about Obito's feelings for Rin, unless it's implied that he explained this to the Zetsus.
I think the chapter does imply that the swirly face Zetsu is the goofy Tobi personality. The only thing we know for sure is that Obito had long hair, and there's also a swirly face Zetsu that doesn't poo. So, I don't think anything is confirmed & I'm more confused that ever.

Possible everything you said is quite possible, but we would still need more information about what happen to rin to completely decide if madara did in fact plan all this that has happen to obito. The only problem I have with what you said is about the ms and obito killing rin. We can clearly see even before obito made it to rin that rin was pierced with something. Then we see that kakashi chidori was what pierced rin. I would say kakashi didn't pierce rin on purpose because, we can see tears from kakashi realizing he stabbed rin. Since they were fighting strong mist ninja it is possible the used some kind of mist jutsu to cover the field kinda like what zabuza does. Also the ms is not quite unlocked by killing your best friend, more like experiencing a really emotional situation i guess you could say. Any way that would still fall into the category of what both kakashi and obito experienced that day. Still good theory +rep.
