zetsu took over tobi's body and made him kill rin this is also the reason why kakashi got his ms
he got it from tobi/zetsu in order to get MS you got to kill a close friend

This was all part of madara plan he wanted tobi to have the MS and rin to be killed to show him what a cruel world
of shinobi they live and he could change it and guess what wait for it.... the brain brainwashing begun but before that

He made a ''special zetsu'' that has his knowledge meaning his hasihrama fight, senju dna,ridoku sennin,uchiha clan...

He awakened it after seeing Rin die, since he still has 2Tomoe Sharingan he can't awaken it yet. I believe when he unlocks 3 Tomoe Sharingan he will remember the death of Rin and his MS will activate.

Sasuke would probably have awakened it by just seeing Itachi die instead of killing him himself but for the story he had to kill Itachi so we wouldn't know for sure

no what i'm saying is itachi gave sasuke the MS right
and sasuke lost a whole clan and didn't get the MS and 1 girl dies and obito gets MS it doesn't seem reasonable
even itachi said you have to kill some who is close to you right??
shishu let itachi kill him and thats how he got his MS isn't itachi a good guy why would he want sasuke to kill somone for no reason ??
