3rd Raikage is not really that impressiv. He fought against 1000opponents, so what? We don't even know their level. If they were at Tentens level, it's not that impressiv. Even Sasuke at the begin of Shippuden managed to do a similar performance without even sweating. Yes he is really hard to get killed, but Jiraya is clever when he fights. That will make the difference.

yes it is. because its said they didnt even make him fall down for 3 days and that he was stalling so his comrades could escape, not attempting to murder all of them. i dont think you get just how many 10 000 is.
3rd raikage has:
fought hachibi to a draw and cut his tails off
created black lightning and apparently fought kin and gin at one point.
only person besides his son to be abel to survive mabuis teleportation without getting torn up.
shrugged off fuuton rasenshurilken and its said only the strongest fuuton or raiton attacks will work on him.
dodged FRS twice, displaying speed near that of his son
