Thinking back about it, Kishi really sucked in character development front

I was just thinking about development of different characters from K11 who are supposed to be the 'major supporting characters' of the series and except Hinata(who thinking back is the lover of major protagonist) and Shikamaru, Kishi pretty much sucked in it.:yeah:
The only characters from K11 which I feel developed are Hinata,(She is main heroine after all), Shikamaru,(expected to become Naruto's adviser), Naruto(Protagonist) Sakura(Protagonist again) and to some extent Neji, that's it.
When most of the people from K11 were introduced in chuunin exam arc, I was expecting Kishi to work on them, their personalities or their backstories, but he never tried to do it.:erm:
As the story progressed some of them even became insignificant(think about poor Tenten.)
Are you satisfied with the way Kishi developed K11??

I noticed that, this topic is boring, we all know that old Naruto > Shippuuden. Kishimoto pretty much just said **** you to the powerscaling, to logic, and to character development.

Can you please explain Ino's case, I mean she was pretty much one sided character with her love for Sasuke, which is still according to me is the case. Neither she got any power-up or improved powerwise.:yeah:

This is merely an observation on my part but I feel like the people who say things like this are One Piece fans. Oda develops just about every character so they just come to like that.

ino playing main role in alliance unite when transferring naruto feelings

But if they didn't need any significance then why Kishi tried to give them focus by making Naruto giving them his kyuubi chakra cloak and rasengan, I mean if you they doesn't carry any significance don't give them forced power-ups, someone like Kiba could have been a nice potential character to develop, but Kishi missed that opportunity.

Ino actually was someone who originally supposed to give competition to Sakura, at least that's how I see her character from Chuunin exam arc, their relation was parallel to Sasuke and Naruto.Ino did improved but not to Inoichi's level, at the middle she tried to become medic-nin failed and switched back to her basics again, and now when Sasuke returned to the battlefield and tried to help alliance the one who cried was Sakura and not Ino, she didn't even respond, I mean what happened to that love??

I think devoloping those you mentioned was nt necessary.They were just normal.Unless they had some sad background like Hinata or they are gonno do something big in the story.Now story just focuses on powerfull charecters and support charecters provide a good support..

I don't want Kishi to dedicate chapters to them, I just want few of them to do something rather than just standing out there and watching Naruto fight, and that too on their own, and these characters are there from the beginning of the series, there are many people who support characters from K11, because initially when they were introduced each of them has something different. Consider, Tenten he could have easily developed her as good weapon user.:yeah:
